Happy Birthday Mom

In Memory of My Mother
1925-1990
Mary Lucille Overby McCall
born September 22, 1925
Palmetto Florida

If I survey all the good things that come to me from above
If I count all the blessings from the storehouse of love
I'd simply ask for the favor of him beyond mortal king
And I'm sure he would grant it again
I want to stroll over Heaven with you some glad day
When all our troubles and heartaches are vanished away
Then we'll enjoy the beauty where all things are new
I want to stroll over Heaven with you
So many places of beauty we long to see here below
But time and treasures have kept us from making plans as you know
But come the morning of rapture together we'll stand a new
While I stroll over Heaven with you
I want to stroll over Heaven with you some glad day
When all our troubles and heartaches are vanished away
Then we'll enjoy the beauty where all things are new
I want to stroll over Heaven with you

Today would have been my mothers 83rd Birthday, this post in dedicated to her memory.

These days never pass without our thinking of them, do they. Thinking of you.

I have Alan Jacksons Album. "I want to stroll over Heavin with you some fine day" Is one of my favorites.
Happy Birthday to your Mother Sandra.

I like the song you posted. Beautiful lyrics, indeed as well as its melody.

Such a sweet tribute to your Mother, Sandra. To quote Little Foots Mother in The Land Before Time: "You may not be able to see me... but I will always be with you in your heart." Consider yourself hugged my friend and thanking God for the promise of heaven.
