G.O.D…D.O.G…B.L.O.G…

Some of you may have noticed I posted no blog yesterday. My Bloggin Noggin was Cloggin and I had no inspiration. Not bloggin today either, but THEN  I received and email that many of you have seen before...........today's blog was born.

I look up and I see God

I look down and see my dog

Simple spelling G.O.D. Same words backwards D.O.G.

They would stay with me all day, I'm the one who walks away

But both of them just wait for me, and dance at my return with glee.

Both love me no matter what, Divine God and canine mutt.

I take it hard each time I fail, but god forgives, Dog wags his tail.

God thought up and made the dog, dog reflects a part of God.
I've seen love from both sides now, It's everywhere, Amen, Bow Wow.

I look up and I see God, I look down and see my dog.

And in my human frailty I can’t match their love for me

Good Morning Sandra, I had never connected DOG with GOD---but you know, you are right. Dogs give us that unconditional love that God does.

NEAT BLOG.. Have a wonderful Sunday.
Hugs,
Betsy

And then there are cats. I have a cat that acts like a dog. He follows me everywhere and lies either at my side or at my feet for long hours at a time. When I come home, he comes running to the door and then rolls over, wanting his belly rubbed. I call him my little doggie.

My dog is being silly and pedaling upside down into the air! Thanks for the reminder of a tangible way to think of God looking at us - with eyes that sparkle and a wiggle wag tail and content just being at our side. The Crowder Bros song comes to mind.... Oooh, how He loves us!

How much I love this!!!! It's true that as humans, we can't match the devoted, all forgiving love of dogs. And what a lovely way to express that thought. A truly amazing post

A very lovely post, I don't have a dog but my cat is almost as devoted (when she feels like it). The message of your post is beautiful.
