Super Shined by Sunshine

“May flowers always line your path and sunshine light your day. May songbirds serenade you every step along the way. May a rainbow run beside you in a sky that's always blue. And may happiness fill your heart each day your whole life through.”     Irish Blessings quotes

On a cloudy day this week, I took the above photo close up of a new leaf on our Staghorn/Elkhorn plant.

Two days later, I noticed the sun was shining on it and through it. What a difference a Sunbeam makes.

This is another shot from the cloudy day
I brightened it with fake sun in photoshop, but it is just not the same

Nice series of photos and wonderful quotes. Thanks for sharing. I also like very much the leaves on your header photo and its reflection on the wall. It really looks beautiful.

Beautiful shots Sandra, there is nothing like real sunlight. I love to experiment with light at different times of the day.

Staghorn ferns! We saw a big hanging one at the Botanical Garden and I will post my pictures of it sometime. They are just plain weird! Interesting that you can't lighten it up the way that God does. The sun does make it look pretty. This adventure that you just took and are going to post; I can't wait to see it! I've never heard of any of it! Stressed out; just got home from the grocery store, we rode behind a car that had a plastic tarp in the back covering something. The plastic was coming loose and hanging down and waving around more and more by the minute! Finally, a big clip came off of it and fell in the road in front of us. Chicken Little yells, "The tarp is falling, the tarp is falling!!" Hubby snidely replies "You're too observant!"

I always knew there was something special about sunshine! Your pictures do a wonderful job of showing that special something.

Hi Sandra, Isn't it amazing what 'real' sunshine can do to pictures???? As you know, we have these new cameras... AND--we haven't had any really nice weather YET to take good pictures. When we were in Alabama last week, it was cold and cloudy and dreary the entire time. We are hoping that we'll have nice weather in Arkansas...

We have stopped for the night at Forrest City, AR--and will drive to the cabin tomorrow. (LONG drive)... We have had rain today --but hopefully it will be gone by the time we get there...

Great pictures... I like the sun one the best. Wonder why???? ha

Hugs,
Betsy
