Itty Bitty Bud Found

I just found a Million Bell Bud, only the tip of it open, the bud the size of a dime. And I don't have a macro lens!

I tried it on the bush, the angle was all wrong and so (shudder! shudder!) I PICKED it.

I held it here and I held it there, trying to get those details

then I decided to hold it over the pool water (that's a litle better)

then I spied the pool steps and Voila! stripes and buds and details!

I will not bore you with the ones i took after I took it inside and laid it first on the countertop, then on the stove and on a china plate. I will do Anything to have a post each day.

Anyone ready to donate for a Macro Lens?????

WOW!!! Double wow!! The color! I love this flower, and the last shot is so artistic! Just stunning, and beautiful to my hurting eyes this early in the morning. You will do anything for a daily post and it really pays off! What happened to your macro? Did it break? Did you never have one and I'm just finding out? How could you get such sharp close-ups without it? Why aren't they blurry? Don't you have two cameras? And don't either have a macro? And on and on and on and on.......

Beautiful little flower, Sandra.... You can pick it (with my permission--ha) since there will be a million more soon... Just don't pick too many!!!!!!! ha

You don't need a macro lens... Your little camera did quite well up close-and-personal... BUT--I will say that George got himself a macro lens and his close-ups are amazing... SO---add that lens to your wish list. Maybe Santa will bring you one!!!!

Hugs,
Betsy

These are wonderful pictures -- they're so good I'll forgive you for picking the bud!
I got a macro lens and I really enjoy it.

Even without a macro lens these are great shots. I especially like the second one. The subtle focus accents the little flower making it a brilliant shot. Well done. Have you tried macro rings for your camera, they go between the lens and the camera allowing much closer macro work and may make a cheaper alternative until you can get a good macro lens.

I love all of the pics of the million bell buds. Great. Bit I love your header pic most of all.

It reminds me of me, weather beaten
and tired, but trying to maintain it's dignity.

Oh my gosh..I just got startled realizing you do the same thing too!! lol)) My macro on my camera will NOT work all the time..I know it has something to do with the lighting but I'm too impatient- so I click. Love the blues (oh, then break them off and haul them in the house) ha ha. This is a gorgeous flower series! One of my favorite colors. I love your header Sandra..I took one sort of similar at my neigbors -but was of a vine on their chicken coop. I bet they think it's pretty too!
Thank you for your kind words of encouragement! Hope you have a wonderful evening!

That is a beautiful little bud and the color is amazing. For someone who doesn't have a macro lens these are great shots.

I love the old fence and tree limbs in your new header.
