Stick and a Mango

After this post, I will ditch the ditch photos!
Photos can be found any where we look, even in an ordianry not so pretty ditch in a park.
Floating stick and a mango, who knew?

Keep your sense of proportion by regularly, preferably daily,
visiting the natural world.- Catlin Matthews (this says it all)

In summer, the song sings itself.

Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land.  Song of Solomon 2:12

Hi Sandra, I enjoyed your blog immensely. You have an excellent eye for unusual photos all of which are imaginative and thought provoking. There are indeed images everywhere that are waiting for photographers like you and I to capture. Keep snapping will add you to my blogs to follow. Best Wishes Kev

Beauty is indeed everywhere if we only take the time to look. Love the mango and the stick, what a combination to float by.

Thanks for adding the Farmers' Market button to your sidebar, I do appreciate it.

Another great blog expressing that beauty is found in unexpected places. You amaze me with the sentiments/quotes, sayings that match up with your photography. Is all of that stored in your head. Wonderful blog! I like the ditch pictures....

I particularly liked the ones with the flowers - can't imagine them just being tossed aside - they bring such beauty to the otherwise mundane, tho you have an eye for finding beauty in the unusual.

Hi Sandra, You have definitely proved that there is beauty all around ---even in dirty ole ditches....

Can't believe someone just threw away that mango... Oh Well....

Love the flowers --and the quotes/scripture.
Hugs,
Betsy

No question about it, you do have an eye to catch the beauty in the most unique places. That, to me, is a real gift!

Mango and stick is very strange! I love the flowers on the ground. It makes me think that some lovely wood nymph in a long flowing gown dropped this because it didn't suit as a garland.

I have to admit I rather enjoy your ditch series. It's nice of you to share the things you find by keeping your eyes open. All of these pictures are wonderful.

Love that last picture - funny for a mango to be in the ditch!
