Four Seasons or NOT

No four seasons in Florida, enjoy our Florida Autumn with us

this quote is my husbands reason for living in Florida and he LOVES Florida Fall Colors for this very reason

The autumn always gets me badly, as it breaks into colours.
I want to go south, where there is no autumn, where the cold

doesn’t crouch over one like a snow-leopard waiting to pounce.

~D.H. Lawrence

all of these lovely fall colors will be with us through the winter months.

Always kind of hard to imagine something you've never actually experienced. I haven't travelled all that much and have never gone off to a different climate in the winter. Your winter colours are beautiful, though - keep them coming ;)

up north where I am that snow leopard is waiting to pounce and I'm already freezing. Love your fall colors. I think I need to move south :)

A snow leopard waiting to pounce!! I love it!! Tell Bob he's a poet at heart! You got us! Pretty colors ALL year round while we have only white and black for most of the winter. And really, I gave it a good shot last year, but how many times can you take creative snaps of four feet of snow?

Beautiful fall colors. I'm still waiting on our fall colors. In the mean time I'll enjoy the cool weather, we had our first frost this AM.

Yes, I must agree.... love the poem... winter has pounced here and is devouring us piece by piece. The pictures are beautiful.

All the photos are beautiful. When it was hot, I wanted the cool, not the cold! Now I have the cold, and I want the warm, not the hot! I want the in-between! Never happy I guess.

Love your kind of color...nothing wrong with that....We really don't have the seasons here either. No snow for which I'm glad.
You asked about the little pumpkins and their use. Purely for decoration. They make beautiful additions to the holiday corucopias.
They aren't as expensive as the big ones either. They are just plain pretty.

Although I like the fall colors we have up here, I like your fall temperatures. And you've shown that Florida has beautiful fall color as well.

Beautiful colors, Sandra.... As you know, I lived in Florida (Jacksonville for awhile and also Venice)... Out of those two, I loved Venice much more than Jax... BUT--my heart is in the mountains --so I don't think I'll have move to Florida again... I will say though that your flowers are beautiful.
Hugs,
Betsy

Beautiful colors you have there Sandra. While it would be nice to have flowers year round I do like the four seasons here. Like Betsy, I enjoy mountains and we are still a relatively short drive from the ocean.

I do reserve the right to occasionally whine about the cold of winter and ask you to send warmth my way! LOL!

a like the contrast of the red flower against the green background.

Hi Sandra,

i used a big white card board for the leaf shadow shot, lighting was window light and i adjusted the contrast in PS to make it super white.

best regards,

Love your fall colors, both those captured via camera and those via your creativity with your "brushes."

So pretty! Wish we could do a fall trade of sorts-that way we could share both : )
