Separated At Birth?

Check Out Ginnys side of our story HERE

on 9/23/09 I saw a photo of  Ella, my friend Bev's grandaughter, on Ginny's post You won't get an answer and posted a comment.
on 9/24/09 ginny commented on my post Photoshop 7 my enemy.

this was the start of our friendship and as our friendship grew, we decided we must be twins separated at birth.

Our personality traits are almost identical. We are almost the same age, and size, look like sisters, wear similar clothes (ha ha, did you see the photo)

Both have the Insatiable Desire to know The Rest of The Story, who, what, where, when How and WHY?

This trait causes us to comment with questions not statements.

Sometimes we tend to post an over abundance of photos and almost always an over abundance of words.

note: in another life we could have been photo journalists, except for the one trait we share that has its on story.

We have our own  Chicken Little Club, we call ourselves CL for short and Bwak Bwak is our clucking sign.

Do you remember Chicken Little who ran around clucking The Sky is Falling, The sky is falling.? (if so you MIGHT be old)

Its from the old Fable Henny Penny

The old saying "the sky is fallng" has passed into  the English Language asa common idiom indicating a hysterical or mistaken belief that disaaster is imminent.
Truer words were never spoken about the two of us. we are both bonafide Chicken Littles.

We both take “disaster is imminent” to the Nth degree. We don’t travel more than a few miles from home, don’t fly, don’t do boats. Both panic when sandwiched between all those 18 wheelers driving 90 MPH on the interstate.

We do NOT stand on the EDGE of a cliff (we might fall OR the cliff might cave in)

We do NOT stand Under the cliff (it might fall on us)

If the child is up in the tree, it WIL fall out! Kind of Extreme Murphys Law

I think by now you KNOW us, maybe better than you want to.
My question is, if we don’t travel and Ginny is in VA and I am in FL, HOW did we get our photo made together?

Since we have the photo we decided to  post on the same day, using same title and see how much our post is alike and what and how we say it.
Check out her post and compare with us.
Maybe we need one of THESE

Hi Sandra, I am visiting with you today via Ginny. What a cute post today and I love the photo! I have many of these same characteristics myself!!!!! I see your comments often on Ginny and Betsy's blogs. It's nice to meet you.

What's the old saying...something about we all have a twin somewhere? I certainly think that is true. You have found yours and added to that a wonderful friendship. Congrats!

Sandra you win the "most verbose" award on the twin posts! Love it! I must say that it's a good thing for your mother(s) that the two of you were separated at birth--the questions would have driven the poor woman to distraction!!

= )

Best,
Bonnie

Yep! Sandra's right. You win on most words, but you and Ginny both are winners having such a friendship. And isn't it wonderful that there is no distance in prayer. . . and hooray Internet!

I saw Ginny's version first and that really had me puzzled for a moment... ;) Nice to see you both together! I haven't got that far in my photoshop experiments yet...

Oh my gosh, your post is so much funnier and so witty!! I saw the video at the bottom and could not figure out why the Lost In Space video would be there!! I watched that show ALL the time and the robot was my favorite part, I loved it! And that is what you PICKED to put on today!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How could there possibly be a connection? Well, after reading this and looking at the video, I am howling with laughter, making me hoarse this morning! I had to call Phil in from fixing his breakfast just to show him the robot part, he'll read it all later! Well done, my friend!

I haven't been to Ginny's post yet, but I'm heading there after I finish this. I really like the picture of the two of you -- you're getting very good with Photoshop.
To answer your question about the waterfall picture on my blog, I think of a cliff as having a very steep drop-off, so I'll say I wasn't standing on a cliff when I took the picture.

Oh My Gosh.... I'm so impressed with what you did with that photo... To think that you two have truly NEVER met (since in the womb of course)---that photo is even more amazing!!!!!! You are getting so good with your photo skills, Sandra...

IF I am a member of the family, then I'm the BLACK SHEEP---the one who does stand on the edge of cliffs, under rocks, who travels anywhere and everywhere ---but I'm still the Black Sheep who loves you both...

Hugs,
Betsy

What a wonderful and funny post to brighten up a Monday. Isn't modern technology an amazing thing, especially when it brings two great people together to share a friendship. Love the photo and clip an now I'm heading over to Ginny's place to see her post!

Too funny! The two of you look like sisters. I read Ginny's post last night so I had a head's up. I love the photo of the two of you together but unless that kind of tropical foliage has suddenly appeared in WV I knew you did the photo. I had a demo of Photo Shop a couple of months ago and merging photos is one of the parts I tried and liked.

Lost in Space was one of my favorite shows growing up but like Will Robinson I would probably ignore the robot's warnings way too often.

Love your new header photo.

Stopped at your sisters blog before I left my comment. HA HA you two do look like you could be sisters. OK so the picture was photoshopped but I have to know if the shirts are real or was that photoshopped too?

So I have seen this picture before. At first I thought you two were just together when it was taken. But it may be a really, really good job of photoshopping.
