"Here's to the bright New Year

And a fond farewell to the old;

Here's to the things that are yet to come

And to the memories that we hold."

I wish for all of you my blogger friends..........
Comfort on difficult days,
smiles when sadness intrudes,
rainbows to follow the clouds,
laughter to kiss your lips,
sunsets to warm your heart,
hugs when spirits sag,
beauty for your eyes to see,
friendships to brighten your being,
faith so that you can believe,
confidence for when you doubt,
courage to know yourself,
 patience to accept the truth,
Love to complete your life." lynnie_buttercup

When I saw your title I thought I'd slept through 11 days and woke up on my birthday. I was just thinking last night that this is the year it will be in all 1's. I don't know why that's cool, bug it is.

Love that poem---and I wish for you the SAME thing, Sandra.... Just think though: in no time at all (since time flies), it will be 11/1/11... But---first we need to celebrate again on 1/11/11.... ha ha

Happy 2011 to YOU.
Hugs,
Betsy

Beautiful candle pictures. At first I didn't get that last joke, didn't know it was a joke and thought it was a quote from a classic Dickens novel or something!! Then it hit me!! Ha ha ha!!
