Bucket Garden Part One

My Hubby's Bucket Garden is loving all the sunshine, this little beauty is the subject of the header and is one of 4 blooms on one of his tomato plants that he grew from seed out of a tomato.
The tomatos were the ones that come on a vine, 3 or more. Hope they are not allergic to the flash of a camera. All the blooms on all the plants have their sweet faces drooped down to the ground. since i am unable to lay on the ground on my back, all of these photos I held the camera under the bush and just kept snapping, not knowing what i was getting.

If you look in this last photo, you can see my Hubby's Shadow, he was throwing the ball for Jake and watching me doing my contortion act to get these photos.

I always forget to mention peoples headers by the time I'm done..but I enjoy this and like the tones..I didn't even realize it was a tomato vine first time! Yes..I see his shadow (smile). We take turns playing frisbee with our dog..and have to have two (so she chases- then drops one for us and goes after the next) this way we won't end up playing tug-a-war! Anywho..I really like all these shots and think the one by the side of your house is cool(by your husband's shadow.................)

I was right in my guess then! ;) I have often had tomato plants on my balcony in the summer but I've never tried growing them from seed since I haven't got room for too many such experiments indoors.

You managed to get good pictures with that method.I do hope you will get ripe tomatoes as well.

Your tomato blooms are beautiful! That is cool that Hubby showed up in the background. Did that just happen, or was that planned?

I'm so jealous, you've already got tomatoe plants blooming! Good job on the photos.

I had no idea that tomato plants have flowers, duh!!! I thought this was some fancy exotic flower!! I wonder if it's edible, I have eaten a pansy. These are great shots, shooting blind is way harder than it seems. There are some new cameras out now, not SLR's, but they are Super-Zooms, and they have a tilting screen!!! No more bending or twisting!! I want one!!! $400.00 to $500.00, yikes.

I want one of those cameras Ginny is talking about so that I don't become known as the contortionist photographer! And, I didn't know that tomato plants had blooms either. They don't call me the "clueless gardener" for nothing!

Best,
Bonnie

If I put anything in a bucket outside -- it would freeze....

you did good for not knowing what you were getting. My camera has an lcd screen that tilts so you can see it from odd angles.
Can't wait till we see pictures of juicy red ripe tomatoes.

You never cease to amaze me! I'm very impressed not only with your photography, I'm also very impressed with your hubby's gardening talents.

Beautiful blooms, those are going to be delicious tomatoes.

You can get cameras with tiltling screens but there is also an attachment for DSLR that lets you do shots like that and still be able to see the screen. I don't have either but I have read about them.

What great shots! I always love the bucket garden, and the flowers with the sunshine made me forget momentarily that I live in winter land! :o)
