In Memory of My Mothers

My Mother 1925-1990

All of my "mothers" were from the deep South, 2 from Georgia 2 from Flordia
Deep South, where the tea is sweet and the accent are sweeter. Summer starts in April, front porches are wide and word's are looonnggg. Macaroni and Cheese is a vegetable, pecan pie is a breakfast food, chicken is fried and biscuits come with gravy.
Everyone is a "darlin" "honey" or "baby" and someone is ALWAYS getiin their heart blessed.

"Bless your heart for readin this"
My Maternal Grandmother

My Second Mother, Aunt Helen, my daddy's sister.
I lived next door to her most of my life and she was truly my second mother.

My Paternal Grandmother, she also lived next door and was yet another Mother to me
These are the Mothers from my growing up years, they have all gone to be with the Lord and are waiting there for me.
In Memory of All Four of them on Mothers Day

I think I still have the pictures you sent me of your mom. she looked JUST like her mom!!! Yes, it was the 30's when my mom's dad left! Spooky!! She didn't understand and thought he left because she was a bad girl. Your mom was a beautiful and classy lady.

Not allowed to go out of the front yard. Even the neighbors will tell on me. What would I do without my Madeline.
I don't know about this Garden thing. Maybe I should do a Post on the equiptment that they are using.
I realy like to see things grow, and they seem to like it to.

Such a sweet remembrance of all of your "mothers." I knew your Mother and Aunt Helen and both were two of the sweetest human beings I have ever known. I know they are up in heaven looking down on you and as you said waiting for you when the times comes. I love this post. As you can see I am way behind looking at your posts. I will catch up some day.
