FMTSO Simplicity

Friday My Town Shoot Out for today is Simplicity
In photography  the technique of simplicity is used to achieve the effect of singling out an item or items from their surrounding.  An example of simplicity; focus is on the flowers, without any background clutter Wikipedia

I removed the back ground clutter from above photo to create the simple flower.

Simplicity is the glory of expression” Walt Whitman

I do like how the flower looks suspended in the air.

Nicely done, I really like the almost transparent, lacy effect it gave the leaves.

Beautiful.
The flower looks like it is suspended in the air.

I do have to admit the first photo has the or shows the beauty of that flower so much more. It was truly eye candy to start my day. I'm fasting for my physical today! lol

Hi There, So glad to get home and back to blogging. We did have a fabulous trip--but home is pretty nice also!!!!!

I kept thinking about you all during our trip... You would have been snapping pictures right and left.... I took almost 2500--but you would have done many more...

Great header!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

Very nice "simple photo" :-)

I love simplicity! I guess that's because I'm such a simple minded person... at least that's what my wife calls me :-)

Have a great weekend

I like what you did with this photo. You've shown how powerful simplicity can be when it is used wisely.

I also like your comments on blogging a couple of posts below. Very well said.

What a lovely hibiscus....Mom got one for their anniversary and I finally have it planted in a proper pot. We will have to bring it inside here for the winter.

A lovely creation! I'm just too lazy to do much editing to my photos.
