Sandra's Adventure

You met my friend Rich in a past blog. Rich is my friend and my Photoshop Professor. The sweetie with him is Skeeter, you can see his story on my side bar under label Donkey

Yesterday I drove over to visit and found him waiting outside for me. I said what you doing? He said waiting on you AND the crane.
"What Crane" Where is it? When will it be here? I said. (can you feel the adventure about to happen?)
I'll wait with you. Around the corner comes.....
Carla, a therapist at the Rehab Facility and she has Trey, the 4 month old lab that is a Seeing Eye dog in training. (more on Trey in a later post, right now we have to continue the Adventure.)
I drooled petted Trey until I wore him out. He left and the Fire Alarm went OFF. YOWSA
Can you guess what came next?
Don't panic, I went inside to find out if we were in danger, NOPE, false alarm.... so OF COURSE while they were checking the building  for fires I sat calmly with Rich chatting.... Aha! Gotcha!
YOU KNOW what I was doing.
 Snap! got the front end
Snap! the logo on the side of the truck
Snap! got the horn and the fireman came as I was attempting to take a shot of the reflection in the side mirror and wanted to get in his truck. I said oops, sorry I was taking photos. He actually looked at me like he thought I was a  crazy old lady, he really did, he was thinking of rolling his eyes, I Know It, no smile nothing. If Only He Knew who I was.. I'm just sayin! he met The MadSnapper

They drove off and then.... and then..... The Crane Came to do its Job.... Can you guess what it was there for? here is a preview..

We have MadSnapper, Seeing Eye Dogs, Firetrucks and Tall Cranes.. OOPS! it was sliding off the page
To Be Continued.... hope you can sleep tonight and don't lay awake Wondering.

Oh this is too funny... Before I came to your post, I had just been preparing one of my own for Monday which is entitled The Seeing Eye. Not to do with dogs though, it's from a quote.

As for the crane I'm wondering if yours might be used for the same purpose as one I saw recently... but yours looks a bit different... My guess is yours will either smash something with that cannon ball thingy or it will lift something heavy, but your photos really don't give much clue about what...

I'm not going to tell you what "mine" did because I intend to put that into a post of my own ;)

What a fun adventure you had. Sounds like my idea of a good time. What was up with that fireman though, don't they have a sense of humor. Geesh

Another of the Madsnapper's high adventures. I'm glad to see Rich, what a hero.

I have no idea where you are going with this adventure but I know not to ask why "ours is to do and die" laughing. LOL

What a big day you guys had! I can't believe the fireman didn't appreciate you taking pictures of their truck. They were wonderful, by the way. You should have business cards made up so you could calmly hand him one, then watch his face. Funny.

You are so funny. At first I thought you meant a bird! I am not sure what is happening. Great pictures as usual. And I know one thing - I can't ever visit you if you have your camera with you all the time. lol!

I have to go to the hospital to stop the laughs....

Trey is beautiful!!!! Your fireman story cracks me up!!! and of course you know that I was recently taking a fire engine picture! But from enough distance that they did not see me! You should have said to that man, "Do you know just who you are dealing with?" I love that Sept. 11 logo on the truck!!! My guesses on the crane are driving me nuts...I will take several guesses. They are building onto the building. They are knocking down an older part of it to renovate. They need to cut back some big trees.

I think the fireman was just jealous that you weren't focused solely on him and his picture! LOL

That logo on the side - so sombering... wow....

I'll sit up all night waiting to see more!!! ;o)

Great story and pics Sandra but you missed one golden Opportunity. You should have asked the fireman to pose with shirts off you could have made a calendar. Ha Ha

The suspense may indeed keep me awake ALL night. :)

Bummer that you got a grumpy fireman. Our next door neighbor is a fireman and he would have probably posed with the truck for you, might have let you play with the lights1

OSHA is going to get all upset if they see that crane slipping off your page! :)

I'll be up early to check out what the crane is all about!
Great photos of the firetruck. Obviously the unfriendly fireman didn't know who he was dealing with!!

Best,
Bonnie
