Blue Skies Smiling

Photos taken at Beer Can Island, Longboat Key Florida
Blue skies
Smiling at me
Nothing but blue skies
Do I see

Bluebirds
Singing a song
Nothing but bluebirds
All day long

Never saw the sun shining so bright
Never saw things going so right
Noticing the days hurrying by
When you're in love, my how they fly

Blue days
All of them gone
Nothing but blue skies
From now on         Irving Berlin
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah. Psalm 46:1-3,7

Beautiful blue skies. The white sandy beach looks so inviting, we need a trip to the coast.

Beautiful blue skies. I love the picture of the water and sky through the branches.
Sure wish it looked like that here. Nothing but gray skies and dark clouds this morning

Sandra,
I LOVE #4 photo, with the sky, sand, it has a whole perfection of composition. NICE. Skies are important to me too. Just last night I missed the BEST ever sunset on this whole trip. Egad.
Anyways, enjoyed your post today.

Gorgeous pictures. I like the verses you chose to add.It is comforting to know that even when life's skies are not so blue and beautiful,God is still the same.
Have a great day.

Next to the last picture is a postcard! And I love the combination of the buttermilk clouds with the feathery tree! When I first opened your blog and started to scroll, I was just at the first picture, and only about a half inch into it, just saw a teeny tiny bit of the top. And it looked like snow!!!! And you know how snow sometimes gets that blue cast to it? Well, it looks like branches on snow! Try it! This may give you an idea for a post? I thought "Well, the world is coming to and end, the sky really did fall in Florida!!"

I LOVE that song, now I WILL be singing it all day, but hey, what a song to sing all day and lift the spirits! And if I'm going to be singing it anyway, I might as well memorize the words.

Just absolutely beautiful! Love those blue skies! Great pictures! You are making me want to go to the beach. I haven't been in years! I don't like the heat.
