the Birth of a NEW MadSnapper??

As my smiling husband watched me with my camera in hand......
OOPS! wrong setting
I aimed it up at the new growth on the pine tree and said
"I am turning over a new leaf and am going to take BETTER photos instead of MORE"
Smiley Bob's comeback..
"Well you have to, you can't possibly take MORE!"     ( he is sooo not funny)
The first one was two dark, so I FIDDLED with the whatever settings and I LOVE it.  If you like Details click on photo to enlarge and if you don't then don't. You have my permission to miss all these lovely close up details of this tiny 2 inch new growth
Oh LOOK, there is the left over hibiscus root
and a pine cone in the bushes......
Soooooo! The no longer Madly Snapping MadSnapper whose intentions are to take Better Not More, decided to pull a chair from the deck and place it behind the bushes..........to  be continued

well I do believe that I would have taken your husbands comment about not being able to take more as a personal challenge....lol
Of course in your efforts to take better pictures (which by the way, these are great) you just might have to keep madly snapping away :)

Great shots. As for taking better, not more pictures,I don't know about that. Sometimes we need to take more to get to the better,at least I do.

What closeups! Wow, wow, wow.

But my (unrequested) advice... If you want us to really pay attention to your exquisite new photography skills... DON'T put a pic of your handsome hubby, right at the top of your post!!!!!!

Come on! How are we supposed to drag our eyes back down to......... PLANTS?!? >,-)

"Naughty Auntie"
,-)

You "fiddled with the whatever settings"? Would you consider teaching an on-line photography class?????
You speak my kind of camera language.

Best,
Bonnie

I need to take more photos. I think I still have the mindset that I am shooting with film and will have to pay for my photos so I still limit myself!
Keep snapping, Sandra, these are great shots! Love the pine cone.

These are really, really good!! So that is a new pine cone forming? I love the shadow of the Hibiscus root. The first picture is not NEAR as good as the rest. And tell Bob he is TOO funny!!! Can't wait to hear what you did with that chair, I hope it was not STANDING on it to reach a photo opp!!!

I just want to know when Bob will be let out of the doghouse. I've resolved, several times, to take better pictures, but I still seem to end up with more!

I am glad to see you are still blogging. I thought my negitive attitude rubbed off on you. Not the case, good for you. Hey your hubby can be a subject for ya. However I know you can find things to photo right in front of your chair. Nice posts, I just caught up.
