Time Change USA

 I might be moving.......

Arizona and Hawaii are the only two States that don't observe Dayligt Saving time..... I am packing my bags NOW! I do not like time changing.

Does the time change effect you?
Hubby and I live our lives on a schedule by the clock, so are the dogs, so it wreaks havoc in our household for about 3 weeks. Plus Hubby has to hear me rant and rave about it.

If this is what I get when the time changes, I what it to change every week!!! Your last picture is one of the prettiest you have ever posted! And the first one, I love the little drawing of the bird springing out of the house with the watch underneath. In the winter here, it gets dark before five O'clock, that's just not right!!! So I am always overjoyed to see the time change because it will now be light in the evening. In the winter, everywhere we go, church, the grocery store, out to dinner with friends, it is always dark!! And we both hate going out and driving in the dark. HORRAY!!!

Not to gloat or anything, I can see why you don't like it and I'm sorry. If you lived further north you would look forward to it!

Being considerably farther north than FL I like it as it makes for a longer sunny afternoon. It's my hubby who does all the ranting about losing the hour and having to drive to work in the dark each morning.

Your right..we don't. Well nice work as usual!! Your header looks pretty too- I can see how other people feel about issues with time though..I didn't think to much about it-

It doesn't bother me much because I go to bed extra extra early the night before. I like the longer evenings but it was really dark when I got up this morning. I'll get used to that because I have better chances for photographing sunrises. ;))

I am packing and coming with you and I will bring my chair and we can sit and be Mad Snappers.
My parrot eating schedule gets thrown off...wish they would leave it alone!

I like how you can draw on your photos!

I hate the time change and don't know why we still do it. It's nice this time of year having it stay light longer but why not just leave the clocks alone and be done with it

You can add Saskatchewan Canada to your list as well. No time change for us either! Though I would suggest moving to Hawaii...nicer weather. ;)

Happy Sunday Sandra!

We do not change the time until 25th of March over here, so we still have a few weeks. It does affect us for a few weeks, until we get into "normal" routines again. It's like your biological clock is set to one time. Then I will start to wake up at 5.15 am instead of 6.15am...aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh.
Have a lovely Sunday!
Big hugs

I have decided to simply not pay any attention to the moved-ahead-clocks! So there!!!

I will continue to go to bed when my body says to. Get up, when my body says to. So there!!!

Needing to know if the library is open yet, is one reason to consult a clock. And see a new episode of "Once Upon A Time" tonight, is another reason.

But in between, I am going to cease looking at the ding-dang things.

No health appointments this week, so don't have to consult a clock, to be on time for those. Hooray!

I am making a stand!!! So there!!!

I like the Old Ways!

Anyone want to join me??? Follow our own inner clock! Except for the random silliness of being someplace *on time.* :-))))))))

This one is tough to adjust to. the horses don't get it at all.

My body stays on this time so I'm okay. Now, instead of waking an hour early I will wake at the right hour.

I do wish they would leave it alone...one way or the other. I guess my age is showing, don't like changes.

Your header is stunning.

Well - let me tell you about Arizona. We do not have DST. And I love that. But it's confusing because we are on Pacific time for six months and Mountain time for six months. That's a pain in the butt. And then there's the Navajo Reservation in the northeastern part of Arizona that is no small acreage up there. It's huge. The reservations get to make their own rules. They build their own highways, make their own laws and as far as criminal activity goes, Arizona can't touch them. I don't know what they do about Federal taxes and the IRS. They are kind of a state within a state yet still part of Arizona. They chose to have DST. So you can't go clear through the state south to north without coming into that time change. When I was in California on a mission in 2005 - 2007 it drove me crazy figuring out what time Arizona was on. So yeah. We don't have it, but it's a pain the way it is. I still don't want DST at all, though. :)

We have another two weeks to go before it changes here. I'd much prefer the same time all year round. I always grumble about DST too and find it unnecessary. I really can't see that there is any "saving" involved!!!

Oh, my, I don't like the time change either...no matter if it is moving forward or moving it back...just wish they would leave it along. For the longest time, our area did not have it, then about 3 or 4 or 5 yrs ago, they joined the rest. I had lived with it when growing up in TN though.

Great post and terrific pics Sandra! I don't like the time change! We will be off schedule for a bit and I'll be yelling at my son to go to sleep at night! It's really no longer needed.
My hubby will have to hear about it as well. :)

I really wish they won't mess with the time...but, I must admit that this change in the spring doesn't bother me in the least. Now, the one in the fall throws me for a loop. Guess it's because I get up and go to bed with the chickens....I am so solar powered :)

My body and sleep patterns stay on the same clock so yep, it messes with me big time for awhile. I'm about to out myself as a weird one (LOL) but I may actually stay up tonight to reset my rhythm. I've read several articles about it and am willing to give it a try. At least I won't be late for work tomorrow! Ha! :)

Part of Indian doesn't change either.

I agree with you - my husband makes fun of me - but I tell you - these time changes kill me - especially this one.
