Cry Baby

Daddy went out the gate, where is he mommy?

Baby's ear is back to normal as seen above

MadSnapper Trivia: Cry Baby, ME not the dog

I am an avid reader, I cry, I laugh out loud, I chuckle, I feel sad or happy. I LIVE the books I read. At age 15, I was sitting in the living room reading Lassie Come Home. the tears were rolling down my face and Daddy walked through. He actually was angry with me for crying over a story in a book. He did not GET IT!
I went to see The Other Side of the Mountain with my friend Loretta, and we came out boo hooing with tears flowing.  I will not mention the SOBBING when I saw Old Yeller OOPS! just did. LOL

QUESTION: Do you cry if sad things happen in a book?  Do you cry in movies? in theaters?

Glad to see that Baby's ear is back to normal again :-)
I cry every time I watch a movie or reading a book, if something sad happens.
Have a great day!

Is it all over, can she flap now?? In movies and books, I start crying even before the sad part!!! If someone starts coughing, I know they will shortly be dead or very ill, so I start crying! All I need is a hint of things to come.

I was also told not to be a wimp when I cried as a child. Didn't help much, only made me cry more!

Oh yes, sad movies and books make me cry. I don't know of anyone who didn't bawl like a baby at the end of Ole Yeller.

I'm glad to hear Baby's ear has healed.

We went to see Toy Story 3 at the movies when it came out. I cried the last half hour of the movie! A cartoon! I couldn't help it. We did get the movie on dvd but I haven't been able to watch it at the house! lol

I'm so glad that Baby is all better now! Love all their pictures!

I too am glad Baby's ear is back to normal....things that make me cry~~animal stories!!

i don't read. and i don't watch sad animal movies any more. did enough crying as a young girl - going to movies my sister would insist on seeing, then sobbing afterwards. the bears and i and where the red fern grows were two traumas i don't want to repeat. she was wrecked.

i cried at 'free willy' trailers. have never watched any of them.

I'm a wimp, which you knew but... I'm just repeating that "news." Sooooooo, I don't read such sad books. Oh gracious no! Nor see sad films.

A wimp.

But I know I am, and thus, I protect my *wimpy* self. :-)

I know the feeling. My mother used to call me a sissy when I cried over a book or a movie. Even today I still tune up when I hear the national anthem or see a father returning home from war to be greeted by his happy young children. Sniff, sniff. It's even making me a little weepy right now!

I am the biggest cry baby around.
Books, movies, happy things, sad things, good news, not so good news...I should own stock in Kleenex.

I do in movies but books not so much. I think it may be harder for guys as we have that macho image to maintain... :)

I cry in movies....not so much over books.

I remember going with Amber and a friend and her mom to see The Notebook. It was a late showing and LOTS of ladies. It IS a 'chick flick! There was ONE man in the theater - and he was alone. Not someone's hubby or boyfriend....meaning he CHOSE that movie himself. At the end there was a lot of sniffles and tissue getting and nose blowing.....but NO ONE was as LOUD as that one MAN!
Go figure....

I cry when I am happy, when I am sad, if I read something on email that touches me, if I see something touching in general. I use to cry a lot more when I was younger. My Mother told me years ago that her hysterectomy took her tears away. I did not think much about it then, but am thinking that could be why I have cut back on crying. Don't know??

I can't read or watch animal stories. There's always a creep in the middle trying to abuse them and if they die at the end, I'm down for the count. I can't begin to tell you how much I bawled from Where the Red Fern Grows. I can still tear up just thinking about it.

I didn't use to be a crybaby, but I surely am one now. I tear up over commercials for goodness sake.
And yes- I do cry when I read something sad.

So do you and hubby each have a favorite dog?

And Baby does look better.

I used to cry - I'd see an old person needing help and I'd cry. I cried and cried - and I think I cried all my tears out.

Now Kelly cries all the time when we go to movies!

Lol.

I am a huge crier. Anything and everything. My sister never got it either. She would watch the same movie that I cried in and think 'Oh, this must be the part Michaele cried about". Sheesh!

So glad Baby is back! She's beautiful! Jake is really enjoying that stick and he is blending right in with nature. :)
I try my best not to read or watch sad stories. I cry reading blogs!
Hope you had a great day! I'm so far behind today! Taking Rambo to the vet in the morning. :)

Very expressive photo that first one! Glad to hear your Baby is back to normal.

I do sometimes cry when getting caught up in a story/movie. I never went out to the movies very frequently and nowadays I usually wait for the DVD. When watching in a crowd I probably hold back on the reactions a bit. I don't think I ever cried at a live theatre performance, not that I recall.

Oh my, Old Yeller ... still makes me cry. And then there is The Yearling movie. sniffle sniffle

You are asking too many question...do I cry in movies...I just bawled in Seabiscuit...I bawled when I read the book.

I also bawl over beautiful music...on my pics & Pieces blog there is a lable called 10,000 lakes...I cry almost any time I listen to it and it is just music.

I probably cry more over music than anything. I got Nickel Creek's album that has When You Come Back Down and The Lighthouse's Tale and I just bawled and bawled over those two songs.

Yup I'm a cry baby and my kids make fun of me. Over time I've been able to keep crying at bay for their sake and since my eye ops I've had to try extra hard not because I have blurred vision for hours when I do.
