Trash Art

Shadows on Trash pile = Trash ART

Below is the dead fronds that fall off our two story palms, it's my job to drag them in a pile for Bob to move to the curb for trash pick up. Really ugly until the sun covered with shadows.

Above is the bottom of the palm the fronds fall off of, below is the pod up at the top, 2 stories over my head.

Standing there shooting up, I remembered my husband said, you should see our nieghbors yard. Well, I am to short to see over the privacy fence, so I held my camera over my head and below is more Trash Art that at one time was a swing set.

I love your beautiful palm picture. And when it is laying on the ground with the shadows all in just the right way, it does look like modern or conceptual art!!! The neighbor's yard has got to be junkier than yours!! My friend just took down her privacy fence because so much goes on and she loves to look and snoop. She is not above calling the police in the middle of the night for what she sees going on.

Interesting "Trash Art"! You never know what you will find. Love the palm.

I'm chuckling over Ginny's snoopy neighbor.

Your palm fronds are much more photogenic than the yard debris I've been hauling to the curb for the last couple of weeks. I really like them in the dappled sunlight.

Definitely something I never see here and much more attractive than what I do see, too. :)

Neighbor's Swing Trash Art... -giggles- We have one of those, beyond our privacy fence too. ,-0 Unseen now, of course.

It's too bad trash accumulates that has to be removed, but your trash art is beautiful.

Ha ha--hope your neighbor isn't a follower. :)

i kinda like the overgrowth. :)

You just gave me a new idea for a trash photo shoot. There is so much stuff around here that could pose for that. I saw your follower thingy worked on Eva's blog. I got another follower now and mine worked for him. Would you try again? Someone else said the are a new follower of mine, but never showed up and the count didn't change. I guess it is Google again!!!

Oh, I forgot: I really liked these pictures. It is wonderful that you can find beauty in things most people would just consider trash.

That's the prettiest TRASH ART I have ever seen... I was taking some of our un-pretty trash out to the empty lot yesterday and passed by our compost pile... Whew!!!!! Smelled like some RIPE TRASH in there!!!!! BUT--when it is ready, it is wonderful to put on the roses...

Have a great Memorial Day weekend--and stay cool (going to be almost 90 here).. Yipes!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

Love your shadows and your creativity! My son would have loved having a swing with all the plants because he would have been camouflaged!

MOL Ms Sandra that is too funny looking at your neighbors.

Your yard is quite orderly in comparison.

Hugs and Happy weekend

Kind of like my neighbor. She has very eccentric tastes in her garden.

I love your photos and the shadows especially.

Great photo framing over your head Sandra.
Perhaps it's a good thing there is a privacy fence between.
Love your trash art. Good eye to see the beauty in the mundane.

You just proved that even trash can be photogenic. I like the idea of shooting over a fence to see what's on the other side.

love it..you know I would do the same thing....thank you for the title Madsnapper111

The swing set has become a trellis for climbing plants instead of kids.

you did very well at making trash into art. I guess the neighbors don't do much swinging any more....lol

Okay have to say that this was really funny! sandie

I'm all caught up. I have missed your blog immensely! I wonder if the neighbors could see your camera peeking over the fence through all that "art"?

A couple of questions if you don't mind - How did you consolidate your blog archives into a weekly widget? That is awesome! And...

I noticed that my blog link on the right hand side of your page is one of the very few that does not have a photo attached to it. How do I correct that? Thanks Sandra!! :)
