Day Ten! I am back!

Day nine after surgery,  I spent walking, I walked 5 times around the pool, 5 times a day! our pool is 40 x 20, you do the math, I can't.
while Walking I saw Pan snuggled in the green leaves and finally felt the urge to SNAP!

When I downloaded the pics from my Rebel, I found 110 photos that i had taken prior to July 12th, they had been in the camera for 14 days, which is a phenomena all by itself and add the fact I did not touch the camera for 10 days and Wow!.

Day TEN today, I drove to CVS and now feel the urge to POST!

Surgery MadSnapper Triva

When you are told not to lift anything more than 5 pounds and do not bend over to pick up things off the floor, do you drop things MORE because you can't pick them up? or do you just NOTICE you drop a lot of things all the time because you can't pick them up.
I knocked the phone off the bedside table, it went behind the bed. Would I have done that if I could stretch and bend to retrieve it? Would I have knocked it off anyway? or did I just NOTICE it more.

Glad to see you up and feeling like snapping again. I trust that from here on in you will be back to yourself in no time at all.

Whoopee and praise the Lord. So glad you are back to snapping and posting! Do not let our enthusiasm for the evidence of your recuperation tempt you to do more than you should. Please pamper yourself. As my hubby reminds me often, "Don't put yourself at risk!"

Glad to read things are going better. My compter died of a virus and then I had to go to the Mayo
Clinic for an A Fib problem. Finally got a new computer and the ticker problem seems also to be under control... :)

Sandra, the Mad-Snapper, is BACK.... Hallelujah!!!! How I have missed you!!!! You sound like yourself....

I think we all drop things and pick them up without thinking.... BUT--when you can't pick them up, you are going to notice it much more!!!!! How's that for an answer to your ponderings?????? Bet Bob LOVES hearing you ask for his help!!!!!! ha ha

Hugs,
Betsy

Oh, now I know you are a lot better! Enjoyed your post. Don't know the answer to your questions.?? I would guess it is Murphy's Law. Glad you are back! Keep on improving from your surgery.
Love you, Madeline

I think not being about to pick up things makes you look more and that makes you see all the stuff on the floor more. Didn't they give you a picker upper like thing?

I am so glad to see you back!!!!!!!!!!!

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!

Love, sandie

Welcome back to blogging and snapping. So glad to hear that you are on the mend. I think you probably notice more how many times you have to bend. Hope you don't bend before its safe.

Glad to see you back in snapping mode! For sure you pay more notice to when you drop things when you can't easily bend to pick them up again. I have a picker-upper kind of tool I can use for that, I don't know the proper name for it in English. But I wouldn't be surprised if you drop things more than usual too, just from not feeling well!

GOOD!!!!!! You feel somewhat better! Dang but this has been a rough while for you, Dear One!!!!

Hope everything continues to smooth out!!!

But WHY have you not showed us that cute Pan before?????????? I love him!

And THANK YOU so much for all your sweetness in your comment in my blog. Thank you!

It's great to have another PIC TAKER tell me, that I am moving forward in my pic taking!!!!

And thank you for liking my latest blog look tooooo. :-)

I like to make my own blog Background with my own pics. And this pic of greenery, cropped and made small enough, worked. :-)

Well, for a while. You know I have to change my blog look, every so often. -grin-

Wohooo she's back! Interesting thought today about dropping things...I like your snaps :) Hope you're feeling much better now. Just home from work here and it's very windy but warm for a change.

Welcome back Sandra. I'm so glad you are getting back to your MadSnapper self again.
Interesting question about dropping things...I wonder that too. Its like the medicine directions that say you can't eat anything for the next 12 hours...Of course I think I am going to starve to death because I'm told not to....
Missed you.

Darn good thing that camera doesn't weigh more than 5 pounds. How much does a quarter pound burger weigh? Good to see that you're doing much better. Keep it up and quit dropping so much stuff.

Wow, I take a break and you come back!!! But so good to see your post. It is still so hot here...just miserable.

Well you made my day :) Glad your back and snapping away. I do believe you drop more...it is one of those mystery's...like when you have a sore toe and every one steps on it.

Beatrice P. Boyd said...

Welcome back to blog land, Sandra. Glad you are able to get out and walk around. And as for picking things up, isn't there a picker-upper named Bob?

SquirrelQueen said...

I missed this post yesterday, looks like you posted in the afternoon.
Glad to see you back online.
I know what you mean about dropping things. Once in awhile my back gets just sore enough that I can't bend over without it causing pain. When that happens I drop everything I touch, it never fails. But then maybe we do just notice it more.

So good to see you back. That phone thing must be very frustrating. I doubt you have made it happen many times before so the notice part does not come into play.
