Ginny Let your light shine

good news and not much of it, this fawn was saved from a burning home in Colorado

Ginny of Let Your Light Shine is in the hospital, please pray for her, I just talked to her. they live in the path of the storm last night and there home is without power for a week, the heat wave and the storm has put 3 million without power. She said trees are down and much damage was done, CNN said winds up to 80 MPH and Ginny said before they left for the hospital they had two tornado's pass their home. She is fine, the hospital is health related not storm related.
The families in this 3 million without power have lost all refrigerated foods except for the few that have generators. Ginny lost everything and so did her son and his family. The grocery stores and gas stations are closed and lost all their refrigeration foods.
Pray for the fire and flood and storm damage that our nation is now fighting.
Many of our blog friends are in these places.

The storm made it to our Canadian news last night. The damage is horrendous and I cannot imagine living without power for such a long time!

Just read about the surprise storms... Went to check on a blogger friend in the general area. They saw storms but are ok.

So sorry for your blogger friend1

Reading that those people will be in the heat, without power, for a possible week............ My mind reels at the thought. And my heart goes out to all of our citizens, suffering in this summer of natural disasters...

-sigh-

Sending them the strength they all need to get thru this act of nature. My thoughts are with all the people effected. Living without power is one thing, but the damages are stressful to deal with for anyone. When things like this happen I immediately think of people on oxygen, folks that need power to substain their life.

I hope your friend gets better Sandra! One thing that is nice about knowing she is at the hospital is that she has electric there and food! That was one wicked storm that went through. It is hard to believe how many people in the US are suffering right now from all of the different weather related things going on. I do hope that people wake up and get right with God because he is our hope, our strength and the only one that can truly help us through all of this! We all need to be prepared for natural disasters. I might start posting again on that. I know my house is stocked very well but my neighbor isn't and she should be.

Well - I am living in a cave I guess. We get so caught up in the dam* heat here that we all just go inside and watch movies until it's over. I've been trying to call my daughter in DC for days and no answer nor even a message machine. I wondered where they were but she finally bloggd this morning and I learned all about it. They have no power and are thankful the trees that came down did not his her house. Just the yard. I feel so bad for Ginny - I want to be there just to cheer her up. Dang I hate when life hands us a curved ball. Very concerned about her. If you talk with her, please tell her that. Not sure I can email if her power is out. God bless her. And everyone back there. So sad.

I hope Ginny will feel better soon. I take it hospitals have generators. It's just awful that so much bad weather can happen all at once. Thinking of you and everyone else too.

I hope whatever sent Ginny to the hospital isn't too serious. Wishing her well and all of those that were in the path of the storm.
