Vertigo- Lessons Learned Three

Papaya Tree in a bucket
I AM BACK to almost Normal and have been for 3 days, I went to a specialist on Tuesday and the Vertigo was caused by a virus, WHO KNEW? not me.... yesterday and today I went back to the gym. These lessons I have been posting are from last week, I did not start posting until I was better. I visited my friend Rich yesterday and his cousin and his friend are both suffering the same thing I had, so I am thinking the virus can spread. YIKES

Interesting facts from The Burning Spinning Bed....

1. If you rent a 500 square foot apartment with a bathroom smaller than my shower, in Seoul South Korea, it will cost you 8000.00 cash down and 600 per month. If you rent a 700 sq foot apartment, the cost is 25,000 for the year. Payable BEFORE you move in. they charge rent for the lease year paid up front.

2. If you watch HGTV from 5 AM to 10 AM plus 4 movies from Lifetime Channel for Women it WILL fry your brain.  (this post proves my point)

3. If you put your laptop on your tummy while laying flat in a spinning bed, YOU WILL post it on the wrong blog.... warning. if you only have one blog, who knows where it might get posted?

4. If you have Vertigo, do NOT stand up and tilt your head back to put in eye drops.

5. Ten days of bed rest WILL cause you to PONDER... coming soon What She Pondered

Those leaves are beautiful! Love them. Isn't it fun what you see when you like taking photos. I don't think "the other people" see the things that we do. Glad you are better.

Well ya' know... If it's a virus, why can't it spread??? guess that just enforces the old rule of not putting our fingers into our ears.

Ohhhh, her PONDERINGS are coming! Hooooray! I LOVE ponderings. Mine and anyone else's.

I didn't realize vertigo could be caused by a virus. That's somewhat scary. But I'm glad to hear that you are getting back to normal, and I look forward to your ponderings.

I'm happy to hear the worst seems to be behind you. Now I can tell you how long I was in bed with the dizzies...a month. That was several years ago and I still have flare ups but nothing like that horrible time. A good friend of mine has had it, too, though not as long. Also a local Dr. (who I call the Country Doc) has dizzy problems and had to have a striped carpet removed from his office because looking down at it made him dizzy! He told me he has the same thing I do and can't watch cars turning in front of him. The motion of your eyes can make you dizzy. I could write a book, which I'm sure you can now too, on the World of Dizziness, but I'll stop now! Glad to hear you're feeling much better! Hope Ginny's meds are helping her, too.

Sandra, I'm so glad you are almost back to "normal".
Vertigo is not a good thing. My Hubby is suffering from it right now.
A few days ago he felt like it would make him roll right off the bed.
Thankfully he is a lot better too.
I really love your sense of humor and the photos are terrific.

It is good it is a virus that you had...it means it will not be a chronic problem for you. I am glad you feel better and am very curious about your pondering's .:)

I didn't know it could come from a virus...you learn something new every day...

Hi Sandra! I bet you grow mangos too?
If so I am on my way there...
The leaves are so lucious and big.
I am glad to know you like to ponder, because that is my middle name.

Sandra, glad to read that you are feeling so much better. Thanks too for all those helpful hints, and hope I never get the chance to learn any similar facts. Also never plan to rent a place in Seoul.

Well, I can see you are feeling better and got some of your spunk and humor back. That's so great! The header photo is gorgeous! Samson says: Mommy, can I go visit that lady? She sure has a lot of LIZARDS!! Bigger than ours!

SquirrelQueen said...

Love all the leaves.

I agree, #4 does not sound like fun.

Reading #3 makes me wonder how bad the past tenants must have been that landlords want so much up front.

Glad to hear you are feeling better.

SO glad you are able to keep your sense of humor! Sure hope the virus wears out soon!

I did not know that vertigo could be a virus...when I said I had it before but not for long...I should have stated that I had it for about an hour...if that makes sense...the bed was spinning....even in the dark. I cannot imagine living with it for a day, much less days of it.

I'm so glad you found out what was causing your problems and that you are feeling lots better! But still take it easy!

Lovely photos girl!
