Married to a STAR

At breakfast Tuesday morning, we started to remember all the comments Bob gets when we are out and about. His hair makes him a magnet for comments.

Since he spends most of his time outside he is tan year round. Once we came out of the Cafe on the Beach and one of the waiters was outside smoking. He looked at Bob and said "you should be on a beach postcard"
Another time we were at church and met a young lady who was a painter. She looked at Bob and said
"I would love to paint you sometime"  (no one has EVER said that to ME)

We were walking in downtown area and a young woman dressed like a lawyer, said as she walked past us. "Cool Hair"
Standing at the deli in Walmart, a little boy of about 3, pulled on his daddy's shirt tail and said "Look, Daddy, it's Jesus"  (i said to bob, IF ONLY HE KNEW YOU)

And so many times we can't count he gets the "have you ever played Santa Claus" and our Pastors little boy said to Bob many years ago "Are you Moses?"

This is what life is like when married to a STAR..... but the only Paparazzi that follows him is ME, The MadSnapper and you can all be thankful I don't post the FOLDER of Bob Pics that is on my hard drive.

Bob must be a pretty good sport to put up with all the things that people say. I love the Santa picture...they all are good though.

Fun post!

I think white hair is beautiful and when it is a bit wavy or curly that is a plus. I sure sounds like you are married to a star. :) All the pictures are great. Hugs

Your Bob and my Tom could be brothers. Tom's hairs is shorter but white and he also has a full beard and moustache.
Sandra, I have to agree he is one lovely looking man but don't tell him I said so. lol
Thanks for commenting about Rupert and Willow, poor Tom was trapped for 1 1/2 hours like that. lol
We have been cat free on the beds for the summer but we notice that now the evenings are getting colder they are gradually creeping back at night, not so good....

Your second photo looks like an ad for a resort. Bob would make a great model. Of course you would be the photographer.

I think Bob looks like Ernest Hemingway---and, I have a few questions I'd like to ask him about "A Farewell to Arms"!!

Best,

Wow...what a delight being married to a "star"! Funny what people will say, isn't it? I had a lady come up to me at Wal Mart and tell me she loved my lipstick! That was kind of awkward! :-)

He is a handsome dude, I always thought he looked like Santa.

Great pictures! Maybe you can rent Bob out as a model for beach photos, or Santa. You could get rich!!! No one has ever made me feel like a star either, Sandra. For a while when Pat was combing his hair straight back several people told him he looked like Clint Eastwood... All I have ever looked like is "Rolley Polley."
:-) Love you, Madeline

I could see him on a postcard. I really like the one of him from behind and the pool is great! What I like best is how I can Always feel the love you have for him in your posts. :)

MOL MOL MOL....Mr. Bob and Madi are two peas in a pod. I'm mom to a star...at least in Madi's Mind.

What a great post. One time I read a comment from Hugh Jackman's wife after he was named sexiest man.
She was asked how it felt she said,
as long as he takes out the trash I'm good.
LOL

These are great pictures and no wonder he gets all those comments. The only comment I ever got was from a very tiny child who pointed at me and said, "Look mommy, a giant!" As for Bob, I really like the Moses one.

It looks like he's tan enough already, what color did that lady want to paint him??? ;^) I do hope I'm on his nice list for this year as some of the stores already think it's Christmas.

Haha! I love this post. Jesus, Moses, Santa Claus...Wow. And I laughed at what you said when the child said, 'Look Daddy, it's Jesus.' :-D Kevin is white like that too, and he gets Robert E. Lee or Colonel Sanders. lol

Bob wears his stardom well, Sandra. And you are a great agent for sharing these photos. The beach one is my favorite too.

Bob married his paparazzi - now that's funny! :)

It seems like you have an alternative source of income there if you run out of money. Sandra behind the camera, and Bob in front of it. Shoot, print, sell... ;)
