Condo Capers - All In A Row

How Many Views of all in a row Air Conditioners can one MadSnapper take? Hummm??

Higher than the treetops

Question of for today....Do you have any sleep habits? Remember this is NOT an X rated blog.. ha ha ho ho he he

When I sleep, I have to have my shoulders covered, with one leg out from under the sheet up to my knee. I clutch a pillow to me and lay half way on it, on my side.  I toss and turn and make a nest like a dog and it takes me 30 minutes to fall asleep.

Bob sleeps with sheet to the waist, with one arm up over his head. He gets in bed, assumes this position and is INSTANTLY asleep.

I have never seen A/Cs lined up like that before? I sleep on my back, with my feet out from under the covers and the covers to my sholders if it is cool. Sometimes, several times during the night, I throw the covers completely off until I get chilly and then pull them back on me. Sometimes my arms are over my head. I get to sleep pretty quick and sleep long, 8 or 9 hrs. a night usually. Luv u, Madeline

Hay, that's a good way, to put the A/C units... all together and out of sigh, as it were.

Sleep.... Always sleep on my side... Which is getting harder to do, with age. Since I've developed a "hurt" in left hip/leg, from a certain position. Then when I turn to right side, my arm might go to sleep or something.

Gettin' old is not for sissies. -grin-

I usually want just a sheet over me, but NOT on my shoulders...then towards morn I always have a spell where I could heat the Arctic and don't want anything on.

I used to take forever to fall asleep....even when working and picking apples all day long. I also was the one to wake up to any noise...in the past 3 or 4 years, I now usually go to bed and am asleep in just a few minutes...I would say under 5 minutes maximum.

And someone could carry off the house with me in it, and I would be apt to sleep through it.

Sleeping. I have no idea how I look when I'm doing this. I do like some cover over me. And in the wintertime, I like about 7 or 8 blankets. And I sleep with the window open all winter long. I don't care whether it's cold or not. I HAVE to have fresh air. Strange aren't I.

Me? I lay on my side and snore a lot....at least that is what Beth has told me....I have never heard it....

Ditto.
We are exactly the same, it takes me ages to fall asleep as my mind is always in overdrive but Tom goes to sleep in an instant, how annoying is that....
Then he starts making noises and this makes it harder for me to go off.
We always have an afternoon nap of about 1 1/2 hours and I sleep on the bed and him on the sofa in the other room. I then have no trouble as I can't hear him snoring .lol
I have three pillows that I alternate according to how I feel, if I can't get comfy on one I try the others, usually works, or is it all in the mind. lol

Let's not start with the sleep thing. All I have to say is "I don't know how I ever shared a bed with Jake".I am all over that bed now,it's a wonder I get any rest.

That collection of air conditioners is hilarious to me because you never see that here in Sweden. I bet in your climate you probably need them, though!

I share my bed with five pillows, all slightly different, because I never know what I'm going to need...

I toss and turn thru the night because of back and hip pain. I like to have the sheet covering my shoulders, too, but my feet are out from under the covers. Unless the kitten is in bed attacking them!
Hubby can fall asleep anywhere and never move. The lucky dog!

I guess we all have that Hubby syndrome. Hubby falls asleep instantly and doesn't move all night.
Me? I toss and turn and can't seem to get comfortable. Sleep on my side but since my knee started giving me trouble even that can be a problem.
Wish I could sleep better and more soundly. I guess it's a "mom" thing to hear every noise that comes along.

I sleep like you except, sometimes I have an arm over my head. My neurologist told me that I'm putting my arm over my head because it's easier to breathe like that.
I've never seem ac's like that! LOL

those a/c's look like money to me...lol...being in the business and all...I should take photos of our a/c grave yard....I have to be covered up to sleep...I usually fall asleep really easy..unless I get those darn night sweats...but they have improved a lot...I'm usually a side sleeper..

I am very fuzzy before going to sleep, have to be comfy. And am a bit like you, want one leg outside and the knee up. I think for me the pillow does the trick, it has to give good support.
Great shots of the air conditioners!
Have a great day!

Never saw AC arranged like that and your different shots offered interesting perspectives.

Since my stroke I sleep on my right side with a special splint on my left wrist and hand all propped on a pillow. It's rehab therapy while I sleep.

If I allow time to read about 30 minutes, it's usually lights out for me quickly once lights are literally out. Without that decompressing time it takes longer for me to go to sleep..

I had to giggle at the a/c units. My brother has been in a/c sales his entire life and I can't tell you how many scouting trips I've taken with him to evaluate a/c's!!!!!
I try to sleep on my back with my arms by my side. When I was young, I slept in flannel and had heavy cover. No more, I am always burning up!!!

Ann said...

That's a lot of a/c's holy smokes. Pretty "cool" though
My sleep habits always seem to be changing. I used to be able to lay down and go right out. Lately I do a lot of tossing and turning. The one thing that has never changed though is the grumbling I do when the alarm goes off in the morning

I nest with the covers over my head and one foot out. Frank sleeps on his back and never moves...sometimes I watch to see if he is breathing. LOL
I would not want my condo near the AC's. We have a couple by our bedroom window here at the apartment. I just tune them out.

I've never seen ac units like that before!

It's not fair how men can just fall asleep as soon as their head hit the pillow!

I have to sleep with a fan on to circulate the air and for the noise of it. I like a lot of blankets and like the softest one to be up around my neck. Since my surgery I sleep hugging a pillow on the side of my mastectomy but when I turn I'm fine without it. When it's really cold I like to sleep with my cuddle duds on. The room has to be completely dark! I'm a very picky sleeper! Sometimes it takes me over an hour to fall asleep and sometimes I fall asleep right away.

That is a garden of air conditioners. I have never ever seen anything like that and I would not think it was possible to even do that and wire it that way. Very interesting.

Hi There, We have a VERY busy weekend since my son is getting married..... Should be TERRIFIC.

Never have seen that many small AC units all lined up in a row!!!

I sleep like you --and George sleeps like Bob. George is asleep the minute he hits the bed. It takes me a longer time --and I do my share of tossing and turning..
Hugs,
Betsy

I'm a restless sleeper. My husband says I move all night long. I like a sheet over me up to my shoulders until I fall asleep...then, who knows. I'm not awake so I have to rely on what my husband tells me. :))

My pattern of sleep varies as does my health. When I'm okay I fall asleep as soon as I recite my little goodnight prayer to myself. When I'm not well I toss around. Eventually I get up and have yogurt or a drink. That settles me down and I slowly fade into a dream state but not a deep sleep. In deep ones I hear nothing , not even a fire alarm!!
Hubby is the more restless. Buddy is like me.
How on earth do they get those machines to cool their units? Odd set up.
