My Baby Has Gone to Texas

Try not to get to upset when I tell you this.... I shipped my laptop to Fort Worth Texas and if I knew how i would write a country song about my sorrow.

The keyboard went Wonky and the space bar hops and skips and jumps and sometimes makes the Window  go POOF! I tested it by plugging in a USB keyboard and it worked fine.

MadSnapper may be a little slow in commenting for the next 2 weeks. The keyboard on the laptop above has gone Wonky! THEY assured me it would be back in  10 days, HA HA HO HO...

I have the desk top and will post, but the desk top hurts my back and hip, the laptop is my main means of commenting from my sofa or chair. can you hear me crying?

Queen of the night also known as Night Blooming Cactus

Today we had 30 of these blooms and in the 23 years we have lived here this is the First Time Ever it bloomed in October

Diane's purse and camera Because I could

One of you bloggers made me do this, someone posted a pic they took of their husband through a toilet paper roll, so YOU KNOW I HAD TO TRY IT

Yes I can hear you my friend, it's a bummer that the computer is acting up. And I agree the laptop is handier to use and be comfy. However I do like my desktop best cos the screen is bigger. Beautiful flowers, and cool that it blooms now in October too. I have never tried to take photos through a toilet roll, might try it though. Will go for a trip south this weekend, and will take some new sea pictures =) Have a lovely Day!
Just about to start my work day here.

That is one wicked looking header. Looks like you're getting into the Halloween spirit.
Hope they are good at their word and get your laptop back quickly. Being without will be a drag.
The blooms are gorgeous!
I didn't do the roll with my hubby but I did do one with a plant through a paper towel roll not long ago. I like your shots better than mine.

Hi Sandra
It was me who posted the toilet roll effect....
You've gone one better and posted 3 lots, I like the simplicity of the salt and pepper.

The large bell like flower is absolutely beautiful.

Oh my goodness, I DO feel your pain - as I sit here in a comfy livingroom chair with my laptop on my (where else?) lap because my desk chair hurts 'my hip and back.' Were you by any chance born in Wisconsin? lol

Hope your baby comes back soon. How could you be so cynical about their promise to get it back in 10 days. HAHA HO HO. It's because we've lived and learned!!

Alas! Computers are like the little girl with a curl in the middle of her forehead.

When they are good they are very very good, and when they are bad they are HORRID!

My sympathies to you!

Sorry to hear your laptop in in the hospital. I had to take mine in for a visit a few weeks ago. I was not a happy camper while it was gone. Sitting at the desktop hurts my back, too, if I'm there for very long.
Toilet paper tubes...who knew? I'll have to try that out.
If I haven't said so before, I love your header.

Cute idea...the tp roll. And love the flowers.

Grab some tissues and dry up those tears before they drip into your keyboard and take out your desktop computer. We wouldn't want you to be totally cut off from blogland. :)
Great shots. I think I tried taking pictures a few times looking through different things like the tp roll. I'm going to have to do some more of that.

You had a lot of things going on here! I hope your computer gets back soon and is fine and no major problems or $$$. I love your header and I like what you did with the toilet paper rolls - who even thought of something like that? ♥

Dee said...

Ok..Now I will have to try the toilet paper roll LOL I sure hope you get your laptop back quickly...I dread the day mine goes kaput. Give that song writing a try...it may help as you wait.

Hi Sandra, spooky and fun header and hope the notebook PC finds it's way home soon. If you have an iPad you could try to use it for blog posting, but it's not as easy; still Grenville does it when we are on a road trip, but I prefer my laptop. Toilet tissue roles come in handy for fun stuff.

I'm sorry you had to ship your laptop...I can only imagine the groaning and moaning that must be going on. I hope it is back within the ten days!

I LOVE that night bloomer!

Sad that the laptop gave up.
When does the plant normally bloom?
Love the paper roll shots.
my left eye kind of works like a paper roll shot. It has just 'tunnel vision'.
