Riverwalk - Amphitheater

The city intends to have music, movies for families, even church services, like Easter Sunrise services.

these beautiful pink grasses are every where and I love them. Also there is shade everywhere for hot summer days.

So are you saying that they will use this as a church, if so, what a great idea.

I like the "sail" cover for shade. I saw one very similar in Phoenix.

Lovely in a modern way.

What a place for the sunrise! So you have to be on the ocean side... To view sunrise, from those seats.

Next question... What can a hurricane do to such, right on the beach, like that?

Storm surges are not far from my mind, so soon after Sandy....

What a wonderful place for everyone to enjoy. Looks like a perfect setting, too. I would love to go to Sunrise Service there! Very nice, beautiful view, nice shade and beauty of the pink tipped plants. Very nice.

Beautiful! I found myself thinking that a good old southern gospel concert would be amazing here.

Oh so pretty and right on the water.
It will make an excellent venue for any activity. Maybe someday on one of your early days out you can get us a pic of the sunrise from there....after all if I win the election you are my official photographer.

Wow! I want to relocate to your city, but hubby would not be interested in any relocating to another hot clime!

And we have some of those pink grasses in our town too. Early morning autumn sun shining through is ethereal. I would like to capture that scene. Whenever I see them in the a.m., though, we are always scheduled to be somewhere.

Loved your text and images.

I have to say that you find the most wonderful things to tell us about. This is new in your area? I am sorry I am so lost - I have had a HECK of a week. It's very pretty and I love the chairs you had on looking at the beach.

I like the idea that this space will be used for all sorts of events. I love all the shapes you capture in this series - beautiful architectural shapes in the buildings, the street furniture and in the trees.

This is quite the place for those outdoor events, Sandra. Hope you get to an event there and do another post.
