Don't Ask... Please

I found a coloring book Father Time and painted and framed, I put an old photo in a fancy frame.

The title says Don't Ask...Please..... but just in case you did ASK ... WHY/What was she doing? Playing in Photoshop like a little girl......and because I sat for hours watching videos on how to do things, and then doing them, my back was in bad shape and i had to take a day off.

Oh Oh! Too much of a good thing!

Why do we do this to ourselves, so many times? Why don't we learn? -grin-

Rest that back!!!!!!!! :-)

If it makes you happy, who cares.
I've spent all day so far messing about with fabric, that makes me happy. Each to their own I say.
Still raining........

So easy to get carried away when one gets into creative mood/mode!

I'm so sorry that you stressed your back. However I applaud you for allowing yourself to play. Way to go!

I have a tendency to get carried away with something and then realize I have not moved in an hour or so. Hope your back is better today.

You could teach classes on Photo Shop these days... I have the new Photo Shop Elements 10--but haven't played with it much... Just don't seem to have (or take) time... I have been working on Family History now --which I love, as you know.

Hugs,
Betsy

Sandra - sorry for deleting last comment and will start again.
Sorry to hear you have had a bad back. However, glad to see the results of your pro-active learning experience. I've been trying out Photoshop (which my son installed for me) and I certainly need hours of tutorials before I can get any results myself!

Nothing wrong with playing like a little kid. Well unless, I guess, it tweaks your back out.

I LOVE playing with Photoshop, Lightroom etc, and I know what you mean about your back...I have to force myself to leave the computer when I do that! LOL Hope you feel better soon and keep having fun with those programs!

Wonderful work. I have Corel and have given up on ever figuring it out!

I'm going to have to check out some Photoshop 'how-to' videos the next time my back acts up.

Well I can honestly and without any pain say...the results (in my opinion) were worth every painful moment.

Double YIKES, I see why all the pain! When we are older, why is it that all the fun stuff we like hurts us in some way. I can list a bunch, can YOU?? Traveling in a car too long, eating whatever we want, trying to bend down too low. May be a good post sometime, but a downer for sure. I remember this picture of Bob!! You have a lot of good variety here, I like the crayons and Bob the best. Now if you could only snap a picture of Bob coloring, it would be perfect!

I wasn't going to ask, I really wasn't :) I bet you had fun playing even if you did pay for it afterwards

I love playing with my photos and just cruising the internet but oh my the time flies by.
You are so creative with photoshop. I wish I could get the knack of it.
Terrific photos Sandra. Love the old photo in the fancy frame.
Just FYI
We are both on the mend today and think there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I did think of asking. LOL I really like the photo of the boy fishing. I can relate to the back aches unfortunately. Hope you're feeling better today. :)

All play makes a girl's back hurt! You need to stretch as you sit there.

Happy New Year to you and Bob!

Man, I hate when playing causes my back to hurt...and it frequently does. It's not like I'm getting older...yeah, right.
I haven't gotten into Photoshop yet, but your photos makes me think about doing so. They are always fantastic.

Sorry to hear about your back but it sure looks like you had some fun. We all like to act like kids now and then, if we didn't life could be really boring.
