MadSnapper Bottle Mania...

This whole post started when I opened the cabinet to get my pills out, glanced up and saw my collection of good for nothing at all bottles/jars. I love odd shapes and the smaller the bottle the better.
I also LOVE glass handles on jars/bottles.

My Deep Dark Secret is... . I bought and paid FIFTY CENTS for this bottle... It was full of ketchup/catsup, which I did not need and we don't do picnics, but I WANTED THE BOTTLE because it was Tiny.

MadSnapper Mania kicked in when I took the bottle outside for better light, the object was to show you how small the bottle is.

I stepped back in the kitchen, and MadSnapper Mania continued when I flipped the camera to Monochrome.
You know the Rest Of The Story

A fun story, I understand your mania for bottles. Thanks for your recent kind words on my own blog, which are so much appreciated.

Awwww...thanks for the mention. I love bottles too, I have collections of collections of old bottles, blue bottles, brown bottles, etc. I'll have to find a reason to photograph them sometime!

Sandra, I also save glass bottles to re-purpose them. Just recently I had to clear out the pantry of some that were not needed as part of de-cluttering. But, a friend keeps bees and can use some for honey.
Yesterday's post if that little sweet car and the tune was sweet and we saw one exactly like the one you did and it was zipping along the highway with the big boys.

Oh I love glass bottles toooooooo! You know I have my *collection* of French Jellie jars with the red/and/white/check/tops.

And I love interesting food bottles too! Like that one of yours, which mimics an old fashioned jar with words-in-its-glass-sides. :-)

Every so often, I have to send some to the recycling. When they get so numerous that "Uncle" wants to begin to "grumble." -gigggles-

Glass!!!!! Is it our way of protesting the AGE OF PLASTIC?!? It's fine with me, if it is!

I have a small collection of bottles. Those little ones are so cute and they usually will come with room service at a hotel. I always take them home with me. Nice collection!

Mad Snapper we are so happy you found your MoJo....we just love love love your creativity. Mom says (don't faint) you might possibly be her 1st cousin 5 times removed as she is a jar collector too. She has a gazillion oddly shaped jars...maybe someday she'll put them all out...let me give them a sniff and wala there will be a post. Now she wants a itty bitty ketchup jar.
Hugs Madi

Hi Sandra, you have a nice little collection there. I just save jelly or jam jars to put bouquets of flowers in. Then I deliver them to some nice person who needs a pick me up. Looking forward to doing that again this summer.

One can never have too many bottles unless they start falling on your head!

I LOVE the bottles!!!!!! And the handle ones too. I was just thinking of how to get some myself, there are amazing things you can do with them on Pinterest!! All kind of easy crafts. You can put a picture in and make it look real antique, you can put flowers in, all kinds of things. and plastic for food is not great, BPA!

Amazing all of the different things we all like in this crazy world... I like your bottle collection --even the baby bottle!!

I am not much of a 'bottle' person ---but I certainly have my share of other little things I love (like baskets)....

Great photos.
Hugs,
Betsy

I just love how your mind works.
DELIGHTFUL!!
I have a passion for differently shaped bottles too.
Can't say i have the collection you have but your little bottle is awesome.
Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to commenting.
Mexico trip wore me out and I'm just now recovering enough to get back to the blogging.
Have a great day.

Who knows why we are attracted to certain things...it is a mystery. I like wire...if it brings joy to the eye and to the touch go for it.

You have some really neat bottles and jars. The little one is so cute. I would have spent 50 cents for that one too.

Madi is right, you are a bad influence. Now I'm going to have to dig out some of my jars to take a look at my collection.

I love colored glass, colored bottles.

Not a collector of jam jars unless I am giving back empties from my daughter who makes me not sweet jam but perfect rhubarb strawberry jam. Called Freezer jam. Yummier.

Oh wow Bob out on the run in the yard already. Yikes Sandra.

I would be nervous also.

My one friend her hubby is like Bob. He gets up on the roof in winter. The other one he goes up to the top of Pine trees to cut them. The wife almost feels sick when he does it. Most times she goes to town. She cant be there if he does fall. She would have a massive heart attach so she would be no good anyhow she said. Both men are well in the 80' more to the 90's. Enjoyed the trains. Awesome.

HAHA....I don't know that I will be using the ketchup in my small bottle but I love the look of it. I also like jars. I keep all the good sizes in them! Every now and again I will use one for a gift by making a candy jar out of it.
