Sunshine and Silk

Each morning the sun pours in the kitchen window illuminating my silk flowers on the kitchen table.  Sun can make even fake flowers beautiful.

Meanwhile, out in the yard today, there were 48 more blooms on the Night blooming cactus, the below photo if of one that bloomed yesterday and one that will bloom tonight.

Doesn't 'Photograph" translated from the greek mean "light drawing". That is what your photos are today.

Hmmm, after seeing those silks, I may have to add some to a sunny spot near my slider! Thanks, Sandra!...:)JP

Those silks are beautiful!! I would not have guessed they were other than real. Did you actually count all those pending blossoms on your plant? Wow!

Best,
Bonnie

Awesome pics, Sandra. I always love the way sunshine "highlights" something within a room. Love those night blooms, too.

Your silk flowers look REAL. When I looked, I wondered who had given you the flowers! I love the last shot with the combination of the cactusy stem then the spreading flower on the end!

MS
You could have fooled us we thought the flowers were real. MOL Mom loves that vase too.
Mom and I think maybe you should hire someone w a great big honking camera to come in to get a pic of that gorgeous night blooming cactus. Of course you may have to pass a collection plate firs.
hugs madi and mom

If I had not read the title, I would have thought the flowers real, too.

your silk flowers are so pretty and they look real. :)
48 more blooms?!! wow!!! that is just amazing!! I would imagine one of those photos of the blooms would be so pretty blown up to poster size. I should have taken pictures of the photos at the hospital today, I didn't even think about it until now.
maybe I will remember to next time.

Those silk flowers fooled me, I thought they were real when I first looked at the photo. Your morning sun hit the blooms perfectly to give you great photos.
Even before it blooms the night blooming cactus is awesome.
