Secrets of My Dusting

I can't sit for more than half and hour without moving due to Arthritis pain, so while chatting  on the phone with my sister-in-law, I stood up to pace. I grabbed this duster and started to run it back and forth on the oil lamp, just back and forth and back and forth.

I broke in on Janice's sentence with a "wow".

she said " what?"

I said "this duster is making the glass and the metal on these lamps glitter."

"You're dusting?"

"Um, yeah, I was just doing it while I pace....a new trick for an old duster...no soap and water and drying....

Just so you know it doesn't work on canine friends.

Because of my addictions to all things computer.... I use this for what I call quick cleaning.. it takes the dust off the computer monitor, the TV screens, the glass tables, just swipe a few times and all done..

I don't like to buy anything disposable, we are filling our earth with trash, so I try to use things that can be washed and reused.

Oh Sandra, your post has made me look up to see if cobwebs are lurking in the corners of the ceiling. I could do with that colourful duster on a long holder!

Woohoo Mom has one of those too hers is all lavender and let me just say they are not good for dusting felines either.

Mom also has another with an extension that reaches up in the ceiling corners of the downstairs..because the old gray mare is not allowed on ladders. MOL

I have a similar duster I use to knock cobwebs off the ceilings and above windows, etc, but it's not as pretty as yours!

I have arthritis pain, too, and my right hand is so stiff right now that it's hard to type. I wish they would find something to help us kick it to the curb!! I have read where eliminating certain foods helped, but I haven't had the will power to do that yet.

Ok,so I need to get more people to phone me and then use that time for dusting.Perhaps then my house would be cleaned more often. Nah,who am I kidding,I like to sit and chat on the phone the dust will wait for another day.

I have washable dusting cloths and a solid green duster that is very similar to yours. I feel the same way about this earth. :)

These dusters are just great, they sort of 'suck' up the dust and makes things shiny. Great idea to dust away while talking on the phone, you were kind of multi tasking hehe
Have a great Friday!!

Well, if I had your duster I'd feel encouraged to dust more often than I do. ;)

I used to have one of those...don't remember what happened to it. It was handy.

I have a cloth glove I use for the computers...

Aw, that poor little snowman got no respect.

I really like that duster. I get lots of cleaning and dusting done while on the phone too. I don't like to sit still and do nothing but talk.
