Coffee Drinkers, Rejoice

Photo and Info from Express news in the UK... I for one KNOW that every thing I read on the internet is true and I am going to Believe this one..

I drink 3 to 4 cups a day starting at 4 am and ending at 9 am....now I am wondering if Tea is hydrating to. OF COURSE I GOOGLED IT...

This is from Medical News Today and if you read the article you will see it is also from research in the UK....

And you all NEED to read these 7 myths on Huffington Post  the one myth i really liked is.....
If you are thirsty you are already dehydrated.... this one is True... the details to all of this have been provided in the links, JUST IN CASE some of you CARE as much as I did...
For those of you who are wondering just WHY I did the research...

The Headline... Coffee Drinkers Rejoice came in my email Breaking News... so yo have them to thank for this post.

Now I am pondering this question... Is the Unitend Kingdom MORE hydrated than we are because of all the tea they consume?

P.S..... you can file this under Believe it or NOT...

I love my filter coffee so this is good news, although I get fed up with reading what you should and shouldn't do and tend to do what I want these days. Sooner or later something that they told you was bad will become good again., lol

We have given up Everything good but not our coffee! John drinks lots of water daily, but not me. Just can't handle large amounts of water!

Whether it's true or not, I'm going to keep on drinking my coffee!

Well, I'm sure that in another paper down the road, that scientific analysis will turn around again. I've heard the pros and cons of coffee all of my life. I don't drink it, but I simply go to heaven and back with that wonderful smell. I even bought some coffee beans and put them in a little antique bowl on my counter so I could smell it. My mother really liked coffee and I never understood how come to liking it. But....to each his own. Or hers. :)

I drink coffee and tea daily. :) I have to push myself to drink a lot of water. My son drinks only water and tea. :)
I think I'll have another cup right now. lol

well, i start every morning with a glass of water FIRST, then 4 cups of coffee. then back to water until hot green tea at night - chased by water. so i think i'm covered. :)

The first thing I do in the morning is head for my Keurig and have a flavored cup of coffee. I shouldn't be talked to until I've had that first cup.

:) Drinking so much tea makes me have to pee. I guess that means I am hydrated.

all I drink is water...I can't do caffeine...and decaff tea makes my hands and wrists hurt...so I just add lemon or lime to my water for a twist...good things to know...as always I love your thought process Madsnapper...

That is amazing!! Guess what? I already KNEW that!! You know WHY? Louis Dean was telling me I drank too much tea and needed WATER!! He went online to print out research PROVING it and found just the oppposite! I drink a LOT of tea year round - mostly iced tea and mostly herbal. Every morning I drink a 4 cup pot of gourmet coffee. Right now it is Strawberry Shortcake by Dunkin Donuts.

I really like this post. I have always wondered about coffee and tea....and the hydrating issue. Well, If I want to believe the UK then I can drink to my heart's delight. Only thing is ...it keeps me up at night if I drink it past noon. I am strange about that.

Hooray!!!!. I've always thought that anything that starts with water as the base has to be just as good as plain water.

Gotta have my cup of coffee in the morning an sometimes tea in the very early evening. More than that and I am awake all night.
Water in the evening and I am UP during the night.
I just can't win.

I can always count on you for a smile! Hooray for coffee! I knew it HAD to be good for us!! ha! ha!

Well if you read it on the internet of course it's true. LOL!
I usually drink two cups of coffee in the morning, maybe three in the winter, and then switch to water. I get tired of the coffee taste after awhile. I have to be in the mood for tea.

Then maybe coke is not dehydrating either!

Of course, if this was all on the Internet, then it must be true...right, Sandra? I do believe in being hydrated and glad to know that coffee and tea also count...now what about wine?

I wish I could get my elderly mother to drink anything - even coffee! I need to be more hydrated. I used to drink coffee but for some reason quit several years ago. I love to have a cup when I'm out for breakfast (which is hardly ever). We're supposed to get another snow here in Texas tonight so maybe tomorrow morning I'll drag out the coffee pot and have a cup or two. I keep a small amount of hazelnut flavored coffee on hand just for those when if times.

My first thought was does that apply to tea also. You answered my question, so I am trusting your research and will look no further. it is past my bedtime. Night!

I'm sticking with my coffee and tea regardless of what the studies say.

OH---I love this post --since I LOVE coffee and hot tea--and drink both!!!! BUT--I usually end up with over 100 oz of liquid each day --including water, Crystal Light, etc.

Thanks for this wonderful info.

I forgot to say that I 'tried' to be a good girl a year or two ago --so I changed to Decaf Coffee... Oh My Gosh---HORRIBLE. I'd rather drink NOTHING... Did it for about 6 months and then decided that I wanted my REAL coffee back... Glad I did!!!!! I did however give up all sodas --and do not drink any of them anymore... (Used to be addicted to Diet Coke! Gads.)

Betsy

Have you noticed how they are going back to the things our grandparents did and call them good now?

I'm not much of a coffee or tea drinker. It never crosses my mind but when it does I do enjoy either one of them. I do however drink plenty of water and I squeeze a lemon into it. I do most of my water drinking at night. Good post!

Wow, thank you that was very relieving to read, I thought I was in big trouble as I drink a fair amount of coffee daily. However I have cut down to go over to tea in the afternoons. Interesting post :))
