What do we see?

What we see depends mainly on what we look for.
John Lubbock 1834-1913

I found this quote on Facebook and it fit perfectly with my seed pod photos.

John also said ''Happiness is a thing to be practiced, like the violin''

this seed pod on our Dwarf Poinciana made me feel happy

Absolutely true quotes. I do think practicing photography helps us see more of the world about us...:)

You certainly "see" many things that the rest of us would just pass by! You have an eye for the beautiful and the unusual! :-)

I really like the curve of the seed pods.
There is something very musical about it.

It is like a modern sculpture. I see things like that I'm glad I know someone else with the same vision.

The shape of the pod would have drawn me to it also. It looks as if it was frozen in the midst of a dance. You have a photographers heart and artistic vision....it is a gift.

I am glad you took the time to share these photos with us. I saw 'upside down rabbit ears" in each one! I know...SILLY! But see something like that makes me happy.

I always enjoy your quotes.

The clarity of the pod is stunning in contrast to the blurred background. My blurred vision is getting better but will never again be as sharp.
