Safe and Sound in Florida

Also, Mom said to tell you our beach driftwood is safe to.

Also she said to tell you she checked on line with Krispy Kreme Donuts
and they have 208 jobs available but none of them are testing/tasting the donuts.

Mom says she hopes all of you are safe from these horrible storms.

Wow! What a lot of rain. Glad you and your "parents" are safe!! Is your mom looking for a job as a donut taster? Sounds like a good choice to me.

Best,
Bonnie (Oliver's mom)

Glad you are far away from the flooding! These spring storms are the reason I choose Fall over Spring as my favorite season...well, one of the reasons. Donut taster? I could handle that job! But my blood sugar couldn't. Darn it.

I didn't even hear about the flooding, my dad is my personal newsman since I don't watch the news. Cute post, glad your okay.

I'm glad to hear that the floods aren't in your area, but feel so bad for the people who are dealing with them. Gorgeous pic of the driftwood, but such a disappointment that you can't get a job as a Krispy Kreme taster.

So glad you are OK and we pray for those affected by these terrible tornadoes and storms. So much sadness. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly

If a testing/tasting job opens up at Krispy Kreme, please let me know. I'd be willing to move. I'm glad you are all safe down in your part of Florida.

The second photo, I don't know what you did to it, but it is beautiful. It does not LOOK like there is an editing effect, yet I think you are so good that there is one and we can't overtly see it. I am so glad you are safe and sound. When you find the Krispy Kreme job, let me know immediately and we will move there. We used to have a lovely little Krispy Kreme. You could watch them being made, and they turned a neon light on when they were fresh and hot. Bu it closed years ago.

I'm glad you are safe, it is just horrible what nature is doing to the South this year. I hope our blogger friends are OK.

Samson Says: Please tell Baby Girl she makes a cute, sorry, I mean good reporter. And thanks for that fine picture you made of me.

I am still laughing in between enjoying the beauty of your photos. So glad you are not in the flood area, so many are suffering right now. A tornado hit Baxter Springs OK which is just a few miles from us. We, in the Joplin MO area, are praying for everyone affected by this spring weather.

Glad that flooding isn't near you.
I wouldn't eat a Krispy Kreme Donut if you paid me. If it's not a donut that comes from the bakery I work in it's not worth eating

Thanks for the update. Stay safe. Too bad about the donuts. I know what they are but I've never tried one. I don't think I could handle it.

Glad to hear you're safe! Be careful of those donuts. They are deadly! Yum-yum!

The Panhandle is really getting drenched, I'm glad it isn't down in your area. Baby, you are one fine weathergirl.

I love your driftwood photo, it is gorgeous.

Very unique photos! The donut tasting would have been fun!!

Oh boy, so glad you are okay. A lot of havoc for those poor folks with all this flooding and tornadoes.

Krispy Kreme? Heading there tomorrow. We are the 'go-to get doughnut' people for tomorrow. We have to buy 2 dozen doughnuts. How on earth am I going to keep my head out of that box?????

Glad all of that Pensacola area flooding is not in your area... we haven't had flooding --but we had more rain today (making our total the past 3 days at almost 6 inches)... Gosh---I'm ready for some sunshine.
Hugs,
Betsy

Sandra, glad to know you were not affected. My sister 's house in Pensacola is OK even though part of Scenic Hwy and Olive had collapsed!!! It will take a long time for FL to recover from this and with Pensacola having such awesome beaches and the base, it will be hard!!!...:)JP

Sure happy to know that you are safe sweet Sandra. Any job at the doughnut place might be okay if you could sneak in a doughnut now and then. lol Stay safe! Hugs and nose kisses

The flooding was in our area. My brother lives just west on Pensacola. They got over 20". Their house flooded and several roads washed out. Tough of a lot of people. Glad to see where you actually live and that you are safe.
