Good News, Bad News continuted

Bad News: while Bob was repairing/breaking the lens for me,  I went to plug in the laptop charger and found the ground thingy off the end of the cord still sticking out of the WALL.

Good News: Bob says it doesn't matter....

Bad News I don't agree and there were more HOT words...

Good News: Bob says as long as I don't stand in water while plugging it in, it is safe....

Bad News: I shot Bob through the window

Good News is  he doesn't know it

Would you take the word of an Auto Mechanic cum wannabe electrician that uses a pickup truck for a ladder to trim the limbs off so the wife will stop whining every time she backs out of the driveway and it drags on her Kia? (take a moment to breathe now after the worlds longest sentence)

I always learn from the mistakes of others who take my advice.......

OOPS! Sorry, my train of thought just ran off the track....
THE END

You gave me my first laugh of the day, especially when I read you shot Bob through the window. Glad he wasn't aware of it :)

William Faulkner would have been proud of your last sentence!! I sure hope y'all get everything fixed so y'all can get back to your peaceful existence!! And, don't soak your feet while using your computer.

Best,
Bonnie

Glad that Bob and you are both safe, Sandra. Yes, I would probably take the word of a guy who trims tree limbs while standing in his pickup truck. That's because I have seen Pat/Grenville pick pecans while standing in the bucket of his tractor while I was driving...both crazy, I know!

First I went to A Quiet Corner and spent five minutes looking for an eagle in a tree, then you have me spending another three or so minutes before I find Bob in your picture. My eyes are getting a workout this morning. Great fun post! Have a good day. From feedly!

Bob really loves to make use of whatever is around. I would say he is very practical. Stay safe you guys! :)

I was relieved to see that your use of the word 'shot' was referring to a camera. and LAUGHED at the quote about advice. LOL

Funny! Well, I am SO sorry to cause another ruckus with your beloved, but you HAVE to tell Bob that I said he is RIGHT! I have had this problem of not having the right cord with the third grounding post. Phil always tells me that it doesn't matter. I was not sure, so the next time our computer guy came over, I asked him. He said it does not matter at all! It is just a little added safety feature. And remember many years ago we did not even have the grounding thing? I used my computer for many years without one and still may be.

Needed those chuckles. Another sign of aging I am exhibiting: i remember moan the passing of the "good ole days" when lens and other things were made to last. Guess I am fortunate that the most important, the eternal things, do still last. Have a break-free, shock-free weekend!

Oh looks like you will have many chuckles to show and tell this summer with no shirt Bob and hardly any closed shoes Bob..

Oh gee I can just imagine what he has in his practical mind or is it in as you say( Duh Mind )

Love your roses on right.

Better not let Bob get to close with his trimmers.

You two are so funny.
I will side with Bob on this one, it's just a safety feature. Plug in that charger and don't worry.

Yes, I would trust such a guy, I'm married to one.

I LOVE your last thought!

HA HA HA---love your crazy posts... They always make me smile ---so I guess that is GOOD NEWS.

I think your Sweetie is pretty smart --using the truck instead of a ladder.... Sounds safer to me. I always cringe when GE gets up on a ladder....

Hugs,
Betsy
