Village of the Arts 2014

Bob and I wandered down through Village of the Arts and found this old home that in my book wins Most Colorful in the Village. I love it..

The Village is in our downtown area and the Artists live and work in restored old homes...
I last visited Village of the Arts in 2011. Click here for Former post on the Village

Yes... TexWisGirl, I know it has a Fence for Thursday but trust me I have MORE fences than I can post. The village is full of them.

Words to Ponder...

Why are they called buildings when they are already finished? Shouldn't they be called builts?
Why are they called apartments, when they're all stuck together?

Beautiful.

I dreamed in bright colors last night so today I will have to find something to create!

If Scotty ever shows up, you'll have to show me these places.

Perhaps someone had some extra buckets of paint in their garage and needed a palette to put them on.

Love the vibrant colors and cheery look to the building or built!
My Hubby says that all the time....it should be called a built because it has been...(:0)
Gave me my smile for the day.

That place is colorful to the max! So cheery. And you pose some really good questions that I will ponder for a while this afternoon.

That is the cutest little cottage that I have ever seen. If you were not quite awake when you got there for a cup of coffee....you soon would be with all of that color! It is magnificent!

oh, I so love it, too. There is a quilter, famous in the quilting world, and the inside of her house is just as colorful as this one is outside. and it is wonderful!

What a fun use of colors and definitely designed by an artist. The designer knew which tones and hues would blend together to make it whimsical. I love this house.
