Yard Art, Man Made and God Made

This is how The Man In My Life dries his pool towel. Before you start making comments about the UGLY color of this towel, it is yet another towel he brought home from Bray Park. He says it dries better than any towel we have...

bougainvillea on our fence, yes it is purple
All the flowers/ferns/plants today grow in our yard all year round.

Ferns grow in the ground here and will take over the yard if we let them....we have 3 different ferns taking over different parts of the yard and they are like living music to me.

John has a favorite towel that he insists on using; he likes very thick towels.
I adore ferns. The home we shared with mom had ferns all along the creek.

Pool, towel we so wish. We have a few ferns and we like them as they fill up the shady places in the garden. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly

Love the ferns. I had beautiful bougainvillea in Phoenix - but it was Santa Barbara Red - and I miss not having it here in Texas where it succumbs to frost.

Looks like the perfect place to dry it. Lol I'll admit your addition of the bee really does help. And how wonderful to have plants that live all year!!!!!! Soon we'll be covered in white, and not just our hair. Lol

I actually like the color of the towel...and I love the term 'living music.' I actually see it now that you have said it.

I'm with Rose - I like the colour of the towel. :)) Wish I could grow bougainvilleas here in Canada.

I love all of the colors and greens that you grow all around your place. I am so jealous. They are very pretty. The towel was free,.... that is good! Jim puts his on the fence in the sun everyday!

I like Yellow also. Hey where else would you dry a towel.

After a swim. Really Sandra.

men don't want to be hanging towels on a line or spread eagle on the lawn. This is the quick and easy way. At-least he has sprung it over fairly neat. Give him credit.

Go inside and read your book girly. Let the man be. I am on his side today.

Love your ferns. Oh ya. I like your blog too. Hummmmm.

That towel color reminds me of the Thai monks when I see them strolling through the gardens of the Thai Temple in Chicago. I love it.

Best,

The purple flowers (I won't attempt to spell them!) are beautiful, and you have them ALL year!!!! I love that towel, like the color and it looks thick! How many Bray towels do you have now?

That's not an ugly colored towel. It's the color of sunshine :)

Love the flowers and ferns. You say they take over and I have to try hard to keep them growing.

Your flowers are so tropical looking. I remember having bougainvillea growing everywhere in California. such a beautiful flower. I bought some towels once that were so fluffy they wouldn't absorb water and it took a hundred washings to get them to defluff enough to act like a real towel. I will never buy a fluffy towel ever again lol.

I like that towel. Your purple bougainvillea is gorgeous. I wish they would grow in this area. 'Living music', that is a beautiful way to describe ferns. When we bought this house I couldn't believe there were two ferns planted in the yard. That was ten years ago and they are thriving. Snow and freezing temps don't seem to bother them. Of course the ones I have planted and begged to grow died quickly. Go figure.

Let me just say - I LOVE your LIFE!!!!

I like his yellow towel - a happy color! We don't have any ferns here either, but I've always rather liked them.

That's a beautiful bougainvillea. You don't see many purple ones!

I'm not sure any colour is ugly in itself - it depends on how you match them (or don't)
