Good Fence Thursday- Boatramp

On the way to Wendy's for burgers, I stopped by the 59th street boat ramp, first shot has 3 fences in it. But I could not stop there..

All Above were shot through the side window and the windshield. It was so beautiful I got out for this shot.

on the way back to my Kia

These remind me of our trip to Florida, fast becoming a distant memory. Lovely photos Sandra!

The light is great! I love this kind of light and fear it will be rare now that we're heading onto the darkest time of the year.

Great shots Sandra!

Since I heard about Nick's "walk", every time I pass those two buildings I get dizzy! And, Chicago can be quite windy at times. He said he's allowing for that!
Yikes!

Best,
Bonnie

Beautiful water photos and fences! My side mirror shot was taken from the passenger side and was a shot of the driver side mirror. Maybe that's why I got so much distortion. Anyway, love your shots!

I'd go to Wendy's often if I had such pretty scenery to look at.

You sure got a lot of fences in that day. The weather does look spectacular! I can't stand looking at the dude on the high wire. I'm not afraid of heights, but I'm afraid of people going splat.

The fourth picture is stunning and my favorite, like Paradise. I would LIVE here all day. You outdid everyone on the fences for sure! Now I wonder if a Wallenda ever fell and died? I don't think I could watch a whole walk. It's a tough way to make money.

Oh it is so beautiful there!

Love the ocean views! If I took photos out of my windshield you would think it was a post about splattered bugs.

I'd be eating a lot of Wendy's food to see that beautiful view! I hope The Walk goes well...it's scary just thinking about it. And I read somewhere that he was going to do it blindfolded!!

So clever of you to get shots through the mirrors on the car. You live in such a nice area. Loved the rope fencing. That High Wire act would be neat to see but you sure wouldn't catch me up there!

Creative shots of the fences! lol

The 3rd and 4th shots look like old fashioned postcards.

It looks so pretty there and I love that 4th picture down. I could sit there all day.

I love shot number 4 - so beautiful. Nice days.

I don't want to see more pics of him walking...can't hardly stand to watch it. You sure got a lot of fences into one post!

Great scenic views there. Best keep your feet firmly planted on the ground!

Water, fences and palm trees are some of my favorite things. I love that photo of Nik Wallenda from your paper. I'll bet he was on the high wire almost as soon as he could walk. Quite a family.

If I were his mama, I think I would have a heart attack every time he did that. I like your views out the side window!

love the shots taken from the car...that is how I take my photo's...amazing how N.Wallenda's practice is just as death defying as his stunts..I am sorry to hear about your knee...I pray it is better by the time you read this.

Just had to send you a quick note to tell you I have you in my prayers and hoping for a quick recovery for your knee. My mouth just dropped open when I read it. Take care of yourself.

Love your photos of the fences. Will talk about it later when you feel well!

Love the fence, it's perfect for the beach. Yes those high wire things really scare me. I would never go and watch in person!
