Canine Christmas-Big Guys

Meet Her Royal Highness, Ivy. I am mailing this pic to her mommy.

This is the third dog I wanted.. He was at the Pit Bull Rescue... they said he is a Mini Pit Mix..... When he heard that he howled with laughter.

Can you tell I love The Big Guy Dogs?

These are the four I would have taken home if I could, My Choice from the 100 there... all four age 2 to 3 years old..every dog I have had since I was 8 was a rescue. And if you want pedigreed, there is a rescue out there for every breed.

I am doing a HAPPY DANCE.... My DSLR is up and running, I bought a new HD SanDisc card and it is back in working order. no repairs needed.

Wish someone would rescue me from my dog . . . just kidding, she's a little 3 1/2 pound poodle and though she's not my favorite dog we've ever had she's okay. Glad you got your camera working that easily, congratulations and you deserve the happy dance.

oh I like dogs.

I love collie dogs and I like police dogs. I guess you call them Sheppard dogs the first pix?

On t.v commercials it shows abused dogs. How cruel can people be. Plus cats, kittens and puppies.

They look so sad. Heart breaking.

Sid's one brothers wife is leaving allot of money to dog shelters on her will.

That must be a young German Shepherd, still all lanky and lean, long legs and huge ears. They do eventually grow into them. LOL Great pics!

I love my semi-big dog! Oliver, however, thinks he is a miniature something of other that can snuggle on laps and can crawl into beds without being noticed. Why didn't you post a video of you doing that happy dance?

Best,
Bonnie

I have been trying to comment on all my blogger friends posts but somehow my Google account was compromised.
Finally I think I am back in business. Too crazy for this non techie person.
Love your photos of the Rescues. They are truly enduring.

I love it that you love rescue dogs! That's the only kind I have ever had myself! Looking for a rescue kitty pretty soon - as soon as things slow down a little bit. I sure do miss my Maggie....
AND I miss Lucy! Ruth Ann has had her since last week. That's a good thing since Louis Dean has been so ill. He doesn't need a dog barking at him right now!
Once again - you sure do know how to take photos!! Loved seeing them and I am leaving now with a big smile on my face!! Happy Thursday!

Amen sister! I adopted a lab 1st then a pom who is currently keeping my feet warm! I just spent $36 on him for an antibiotic so he better be useful.

all great looking dogs. the collie is beautiful. my parents got my brother a collie when I was a about 3 or 4 but we only had the dog for a short time before my mother had issues with her. She ended up living a long happy life on my uncle's farm
So glad to hear about your DSLR, that is awesome news

The mini Pit has the biggest mouth I have ever seen!!! The four white ones, they have a flat nose the same as some cats. I wish they would stop breeding them to look like that. They have a hard time breathing plus facial structure problems. Men do this just as a hobby...it is the animals who suffer.

Such sweet looking pups! I love collies and had one when we bought the farm. He just wouldn't stay home no matter what I did. He kept going to the Mexican's house a mile away. I couldn't compete with Mexican food! lol I gave him up to them since he wouldn't stay home.

I got the sound. That is my speed now.

Ha-ha Rock my soul how I like the stroll. Near the candy store. That is perfect.

I dig this song.
