Good Fence - Helicopter

While visiting Rich, last week, I found our  trauma helicopter sitting on the pad at Blake Hospital. I just missed the landing. We live less than 2 miles from the hospital and our home is under the flight pattern for this landing pad and it is a common sight over our yard..

This is a very good fence because it protects us from getting in those rotating blades.  The Trauma ER is 10 miles from the Interstate but is minutes in the air from 3 counties.

Because of my addiction to PicMonkey, I just had to play.. Joining TexWisGirl Good Fence Thursday. Pop on over.

I like what you can do with pic monkey. That is handy having the helicopter close by.

I live about the same distance from our hospital and sometimes see our emergency helicopters in the air too. I like your b&w version of the palm trees.

well as much as I enjoy all your pic monkey play time I'm right now taking a little mental vacation and sitting in the shade of that palm tree and looking at the blue skies. It won't be long before I have to go out and brush the snow off the car and head to work. I'll just sit a bit longer :)

Neat shot of the Trauma Helicopter. Years ago my son rode in one of these helicopters to Johns Hopkins in Balto. He broke his leg sliding on ice into our backyard fence. They thought he might have hurt his neck. He had to wear an erector set (holding his bones together) on his leg for months..So we thank god for the emergency crews and the medics on the helicopter. I like the picmonkey images.. Cool! Have a great day..

We are between the interstate and a local trauma unit so we hear helicopters on occasion. Thank goodness, we are not in the flight path for O'Hare and Midway!!

Best,
Bonnie

It is a great thing to have those helicopters - but I wouldn't want to need one! Nice fence.

Gotta love how these helicopters get from place to place quickly! My son-in-law is a paramedic and for a while he traveled with sick and injured people from Northern Ontario to a hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A much needed service.

Those medical helicopters are a wonderful service. You got great shots. Enjoyed your sketch you created with PicMonkey. I was wondering how Rich was and Baby. Hope they are both recovering/recovered.

Cool photos, Sandra! How many of us are grateful for those helicopters! I didn't see your link over at Good Fences. Have you linked up?

I love your picmonkey edits. And those are some great pictures of the helicopter. Two miles from the hospital is so great. We are 12 miles from our small emergency one and about 50 miles from a "real" hospital. So you gotta love those big birds!

Nice photos and photo effects. I LOVE PicMonkey!! It's simple and easy, which I like. I'm not into complicated.

Helicopters are great when needed, but I do not want to fly in one. Have you downloaded Pic Monkey or just use it when it comes up. I have tried to use it, but not like you.

This is a cool one. We have one that goes over us sometimes, from a trauma hospital a half hour away, it is called Pegasus. But I have not seen one with this big fancy thingy on the back, have I? Well, I don't remember seeing one. I always love the palm trees, they are special to me because we do not have any. And you always have great shots of them.

I forgot how fancy your helicopters are! I love what you did with pic monkey! very cool!

it is great to have a helicopter to be able to get people very quickly to hospital. I looked up PicMonkey as you had used it very successfully however I could not find how to make that pencil art or perhaps you have used the paid bit? Can you let me know if this is the case and if not, What is it under on the site. I have an email address at the top of my site on the right.

Those medical helicopters are a good thing! I like the pencil drawing effect that you used, especially for the building. Cool!

Cool shot of the Helicopter behind the fence. Ours land on top of the hospital buildings here so I don't know if they have a fence around them or not.
Loved that last Pencil shot of the building.

I've been scrolling through your posts and catching up. I'm glad to hear Rich and Baby have both made recoveries.
