Kindle Love and flowers

UPDATE: what kind of idiot would schedule two posts on the same day same time?   MUST BE ME... oh well.

I sit in the sun in front of our Florida Fireplace, with my Kindle. While reading my Kindle paperwhite, if I find a word that I am not sure what it means, I tap the word, it highlights and opens a window with the definition.

Last week, while reading in my Bible I came to this word. Similitude.. I tapped the word for the definition and NOTHING HAPPENED... in a few seconds I realized it was the Written Word.. and I would have to rely on the dictionary. Of course it was the On Line Dictionary.. have you ever seen this word before?

Flowers in the grocery store. JUST BECAUSE

No, that is a new word for me. I don't think my Kindle is the smart one. I'll try tapping a word to see.

Best,
Bonnie

Neat the way the word's definition pops up when you tap it.

New word for me too. I think it's great how you can get the definition just by tapping.

You make me smile.

I do that too sometimes - try to tap words in printed books ;) (Very annoying when nothing happens!) But yes I have come across the word similitude.

That's a lovely view and I love that you can check out a word while reading. I have never seen that word "Similitude" before.

I just love being able to read on line and looking up words, making the print BIGGER so that I can read it properly. Of course, I also love to get an old honest to good paperback and read that too. Love the look of your pool. Do you swim in it often? Your flowers are pretty also.

Your grocery store flowers are awesome! In fact, if you hadn't said, I would have thought they are in your yard. Yes, I do know that word! We bought our son a Kindle Paperwhite, but we don't have one. I have an old iPad, but it is too heavy to read. I don't know how you have the time what with blogging! I have lots of books and no time to read them.

Sometimes I get flowers from the grocery store just because too. Stay warm down there. It's snowing here in north Alabama.

It's part of one of my favorite words: verisimilitude! Not that I get to use it that often, but I love the way it sounds. LOL Anyway, I laughed when you told about your Bible, because I've found myself wanting to scroll the pages or adjust the backlighting in my NASB. :-))

That's one of the things I really love about the kindle. It's nice to be able to find out right there what a word means.
That word is new to me. I've never heard it before
