Post Script -Recycled Dreams Winner

Here is PROOF Her Madness the MadSnapper was at the
Prior Post  Fashion Show and further proves it was not my skills or my camera that caused blurred photos. The professionals were shooting in low light to.

Above is the winner (not ME silly).
If you want to see MORE photos of all the dresses they are  HERE and are not my photos.

photo from library flicker acct

The top three designs... left to right.. designer, 3rd runner up, designer, 1st place and 2nd runner up...

see what I mean about it was NOT my SKILLS???? shooting inside is a challenge

There were about 300 people, half of which were holding Smart Phones in the air, I was the ONLY ONE with a point and shoot camera.

( I nearly died of mortification and felt every eye in the place was on me thinking.. SHE has NO smartphone)

I was Also the ONLY one not taking selfies with all the contestants.

soooooooooooooo I came home and took these using my camera, remember it has no forward facing LED to see what I am doing.

Please I beg of you, do NOT click on photo to enlarge.
NO... that is not bed hair... that is my going out hair and now I have decided to never go OUT again...
WHY would anyone take a selfie? I mean who wants to see all THIS UP CLOSE..   NOTE: to hide your chins, lean forward and to the side...

JUST IN CASE YOU ARE INTO SELFIES THERE IS AN EXTENDER POLE.....

I'm loving that little black number and wish I had it to wear to a function next week. O.K., that's not true. I am happy, though, to know how to pose for a selfie.

Best,
Bonnie

I love that - don't click to enlarge. LOL And hey, I saw those selfie sticks for the first time when we were in England. I couldn't imagine it, but my daughter reminded me that a kid might want their photo to send back to their mom in Japan or wherever. Right.

ANYway, loved the post and it would have been so much fun to see that recycled fashion show in person - even if you didn't have a Smartphone. :-)

That dress was my favorite too. And my gosh I look so bad in a selfie I would never ever post it - maybe I need that stick - hope it is a long one.

LOL MS. not only do I not have a smartphone, my is a flip phone...
I found it hilarious when someone says something about oh there is an app for that...and I say for a flip phone and their eyes glaze over.

I tried to adjust writing not sure if it worked. It looks fine on my end so not sure what the problem is

I am guilty of taking selfies, but you're right, it is way too close. Great tips on posing though Well, I liked your selfies and enjoyed seeing you in the audience. Those girls are so talented. I wonder if we have some future dress designers?

How awesome you are in the photos and you look wonderful. I took my point and shoot to the Safari park. I'm sorry but phone photos just are not the same. I'm kinda sad about that, people should still be using cameras!

Oh goody, more of the fashion show! So someone put all these pics on Flicker, right? That is where you got them? I see YOU in the audience, this was very cool for me! Yes, everyone here does the same thing, they bring their phones to events and snap with them. I still don't think the phones take as good of a picture as a good point and shoot. And I never did see anything wrong with your pictures. LOVE that big bouquet on your link! I LOVE your selfies! You are more beautiful than ever, and I mean it. Joyful and pretty! You hair is cute and sassy, and your skin is flawless. And you have THE cutest, most mischievous grin, with a twinkle in your eyes. I always love seeing you. And you plus the fashions is heaven!

Hi there,
Not everyone gets to go shoot at a fashion show or even go to one. I am happy for you.
By the way, I love the Paisley shirt in the first photo - very cool!
Have a Super Day!
Peace :)

I still would rather use a point and shoot but I admit that the smart phones are awful handy.
I'm guilty of the selfies but only when I'm really bored

My daughter got a selfie stick and said it was her new best friend. If I ever took a selfie I would delete it immediately. Fun post! Fun show!

We all thought your photos were wonderful! And my selfie advice? Forget 'em!

Eileen and I think alike. I'm not photogenic so I do NOT take selfies and I also have a basic dumb phone. :)

I have a smartphone but no selfie-stick. I have a gorilla-pod for my camera, though. And a self-timer on the camera. I really prefer my (rare) selfies taken from more than an armlengths distance...
