Recycled Robots

Our local grade schools had a Build a Robot from Recyled materials contest. These are a few I snapped at the library where they were on display... I saw water bottles and egg cartons, thread spools, cereal boxes and MUCH talent.   They used Trash to make ART..

Recycle means using waste materials to create something new, even waste water can be recycled... Recycle also means donating clothing and furniture and anything usable..

Children have creativity but I also know a little girl in heart her name is Sandra.

Great blog again Sandra.

Your interst in their creative works just shows your own creative mind. You see the value and beaty all around and make us aware. Thank you.
Some robots are super elaborate showing a more advance in mind development. Are all kids the same age?

Those are some very creative kids! I will have to try to save some things and take them into school to let my son's class try that. I did take in some things like that to help them make their Valentine boxes for their party last year. They loved it. I did have 3 or 4 boys that did make robots with the boxes and toilet paper rolls I brought in. Kids need to do that type of stuff. I know mine does! My husband has been saving old broken electrical things to make a robot with my son. They have a box full of things and I think they are going to try to get started on it real soon because he brought home some more things the other day.
