One thing leads to another... in MY world...

I found a way to comment on your posts in bed, by  propping up on three pillows with a pillow on legs, laptop on pillow.. Commenting became DOABLE....

One minute I was commenting on a blog and a thought for a post POPPED IN MY HEAD... really, it just POPPED.....

My brain said..Take a photo of my wrist for a post.... would you  believe that Sunday I picked up 3 avocadso that were almost 2 pound each  and managed to strain my left wrist?
No Worries! it healed over night..
 Any Whooo
CLICK HERE TO SEE HOW BIG THEY GET... the one in the pot is the size of what I was holding.

While snapping my WRIST I thought Do an UPDATE on the leg that has me propped in bed.. That Did Not Work as you can see... But when I stood up to put the camera up... Suddenly.....the camera took over, aimed itself at the lamp shade... and you know the rest of the story....
....
SNAP! SNAP! SNAP!

If you want to be grossed out scroll way down to see the update on the leg... Today is 2 weeks since I fell UP the steps... and it is better but might take another week. The hip on the other leg may take months. we shall see what we shall see....

Hello Sandra, I think too many things are happening in your world. I am glad to hear your wrist healed overnight. And your leg is looking better, I am sorry your hip will take longer. I am usally clumsy but it has been a while since my hubby has asked me why I did that, at that time I have fallen and I am laying on the ground. Take care and I wish you well!

Since your camera is taking the photos, what's the problem? Like Mendelssohn, just publish posts (songs) without words!! I am glad that you are getting better!!

Best,
Bonnie

You poor thing. I took a week's hiatus and was surprised when I returned to see you were still laid up. Hang in there!

Just like magic...first not a thought in your head and then all of this!

You think your leg is bad...I did not have the courage to post mine. Mine was from bites and I have no idea from what. We were at Lorelei's about a month ago and Roger and I had sat outside watching her play. I had a couple sores on my one leg. One where a board had fell against it...it was sore there. Another cut I had no idea what from.

The gnats drove me crazy with that leg. I go to bed that night, and my foot started itching...the type where you scratch till you bleed. There was all these little bumps.

Got stopped and didn't think more about till the next night when it started again...this time was more up the leg, too.

I have never figured it out...I bet the left leg had at least 30 'bites' or whatever it was...plus the original little bumps. They were different to the rest.

The right leg might have had 5 bites total. My left leg is just now getting till I might wear capris again...it looked awful and nasty almost. Everything crossed my mind, and looked it up and never could figure it out. Specially the why of one leg and hardly anything on the other.

Your wrist too? Yikes! Well at least that healed overnight. Your leg looks like it is healing but the original whack must have been a doozy. Hope you are able to get around soon but you still managed to take some fun photos. Where there's a will there's a way :)

A 2 lb avocado should not be eaten be stored by the door for self defense.
Hugs and Thank goodness your leg is healing and your wrist HAS healed.

That was such a bad fall!! We just don't heal as fast as we used to! I am drooling over the very THOUGHT of such a large avocado!!!! Think of the amout of guacamole that would make!!!!

An avocado injury, now you may be the first in the world to claim that. Your leg still looks messed up, I hoped to see faster healing. Be well my friend.

EW!!! I sure hope your leg looks better next week! And I'm amazed that you hurt your wrist with an avocado! Glad you've discovered a way to post, though!

Glad you were able to do some blogging from bed. Love how you take random shots and can't believe you hurt your wrist with the avocado's! I can't imagine seeing one that big.

You sure have been taking a beating lately. I think you might be contagious too. The other day when I came back from walking Gibbs I was walking in the door and the storm door caught the back of my ankle and cut it all up. The next morning when I was letting him out, he bolted out the door and when I went to grab for him I fell and cut my ankle and my little toe on the other foot.

My goodness, you really did a number on your self.
I fell up the stairs when we were in Uzbekistan back in 2006.
My knee has never been the same and my little toe is forever "humpbacked"
I really do know how you feel.
Praying for continued healing and I like your alternatives so you can post.

My goodness! What kind of trouble did you get into while I was on vacation? Ouch...that looks and sounds painful. I'm sorry this happened and hope you heal quickly!

My shoulder is getting better if I don't use it too much and my knees...well, I think Uncle Arthur-itis has moved into them and there's not much hope. Ditto my lower back. BG told me a good one just yesterday that I wanted to hit him over the head for...he said I needed to practice getting down on the floor and getting back up because if I don't I'll get down one day and not be able to get back up without help!!! Practice?? Is he crazy? LOL!! The things men come up with!!

You certainly made a good job of it,but really,it's time to heal and get back to your normal self. Take it easy as long as necessary.

I have been derelict in checking blogs and didn't know about your wrist or your leg. Hope all is getting better and better as the days go on.

Ouch, that looks really bad - your poor leg... I'm glad to see you're still able to get distracted by other things, though! :)

Well it's neat you found a way to comment while in bed. Seems to have worked. - Oh my I can relate to your wrist situation as I once popped mine out picking up a bottle of Windex. - The legs are looking better. I just feel so bad for you that it happened. Loved your lamp shots, very pretty.

It seems my wrists are weaker than they used to be I guess I need to find some exercise to strengthen them
