Fern Frond Foto Folly?

My camera is like a fully automatic pistol... I aim it and keep pulling that trigger snapping that shutter. The sun beam landed on one fern frond and

Pow! Snap! Zap! Bazinga!
 87,00 fern frond fotos

Bob slid his credit card in/out and the gas pump started without him typing in the zip code.. he pumped gas and at 5.00 it quit pumping.

He walked inside and told the cashier. Cashier says OK, I put 5 dolla on pump 5. Bob said I wanted more, I am on pump 5 and I did not give you money.. Cashier says I put 5 on 5. (think mega language barrier) I will skip the rest, think repeat, repeat.

Bob went back to the pump and put his card in and pumped 22.50 in gas and left. The first 5 dollars was a freebie. We are dying to know what happened to the man who gave the cashier 5 dollars.

Beautiful fern photos! That lighting is perfect. Interesting time at the gas station :) I am back from vacation. Thanks for visiting when I was gone. My first journal post is http://anenglishgirlrambles2016.blogspot.com/2016/01/first-day-of-vacation-washington-dulles.html

Happy New Year!

I can't help getting a chuckle out of 87,00 fern frond fotos. They sure are pretty. All I see around here today is snow. It's snowing again this morning.
I'm betting that cashier has her drawer come up short a lot. $5 in free gas is kind of nice though

I love ferns and the sunlight is gorgeous. Too funny about the gas station. Hope you have a good Monday.

I love the light on the frond. Aren't camera cards amazing! Just think back to when we used roll film and didn't know if we got a good shot until we could afford to have the roll developed.

Hello Sandra, lovely images of the ferns! The lighting is pretty. The word Bazinga makes me think of Sheldon on Big Bang. Happy Monday, have a great new week!

Ohhhh welcome back MS!! We hope your aches are less noticeable!! We love the frond foto and especially the folly at the gas tank that is too funny. Speaking of gas we filled up the Highlander on Saturday,...are you ready for this it was 1.77 a gallon. We haven't seen prices that low in 20+years. The station used to be Hess it was recently bought by Speedy. We are thinking it was a special promotion for the change but unadvertised

Beautiful fern-frond-in-the-sunlight photos, Sandra. Oh my word. I wonder who put in the first $5? We have pump attendants and wouldn't know how to put in our own fuel at a station! Happy 2016 to you and Bob. (((Hugs))) Jo xxx

Fern fronds are amazing when you examine them...can't say I wouldn't do the same if all I had to do was walk out in my yard.

Glad to see a post from you!

I am reading this and hoping you are feeling better! I may have missed a post so I am now in search!
Perhaps someone was 'paying it forward' on your gas!!
Love how YOU love seeing art in just about everything! If more people saw the beauty on the ordinary - they would be so much happier!!! You are an inspiration to us all to do more of that!!

That is an amazing shot. I love how the sun was so focused on the one frond. That is really strange and funny about the gas.

Frustration but you came out a winner anyway.
Love your fern too.

Pretty frond! Sunlight, yes! Wind chill factored in, it was around 10 this morning. I'm soaking in the warmth from all 87,00 photo fronds. We have the same language barrier at our gas stations.

How neat to get the (Free) gas.
