Lacey Macro Staghorn Fern

I’m trying to get into classical
music, but I can’t find any original recordings. All the music is performed by cover bands.

If people say they just love the smell of books, I always want to pull them aside and ask, To be clear, do you know how reading works?

(Bridger Winegar)

Last week the sun pointed out the lace on the top of this Staghorn fern that hangs in our backyard. for the surprise I got CLICK HERE then think IN MY BACK YARD?

Leave it where it is and enjoy the beauty, money isn't everything, besides it might kill it if you move it.

Ferns are touchy plants. I would think twice to move it like Briony.

Can you not call them to come and look and let them move it if you think it is money in it..

$2,000!!! wow!! But, you know you love it. :) you should keep it. The lace part reminds me of coral reef. :) Pretty!

Beautiful plant/photo and that is a lot of money! Back when we were looking at/buying daylilies, some of them were pricey, but nothing like this. We just looked and then bought the bargain daylilies! lol

such a neat (and heavy) plant.

Holy Smokes, $2,000. At least I could afford the shipping that was just under $25

The Staghorn is gorgeous! My father used to have one like that. I would never sell it if I were you.

Wow! It's a beautiful plant and I'd be tempted to sell it if someone would be willing to pay those prices. But, it will also add value to your property, too!

Hello, the staghorn is beautiful. I would keep it, it is something you enjoy seeing in you your yard. Personally, I could find a lot more to do with $2,000 than to buy a plant.
Have a happy day!

MOL MOL sniffing books. Mom used to go to the library for her books and I loved sniffing them. But then a lot of the books started smelling like cigarette smoke so now mom buys her books on sale with her B&N card.
The photos are beautiful I don't know how we missed this yesterday? The old gray mare might get some demerits

Isn't sunlight a beautiful thing! And I love the jokes of course. The eBay entries were fun to look at but I doubt that you're going to part with your staghorn. I noticed the name Bridger. I rarely see that (except on my sidebar).

That's a heck of a lot of money for a fern. I would hate to sell it and ship it and have it die before the people could enjoy it. I would be a nervous wreck. Besides what would you take pictures of ??? Incidentialy I love the lacy top to the fern. Great capture.

I think I have said it before Sandra, but you have such a great eye for photography. The lace on the stag horn is gorgeous, and beautifully taken.

Good grief I just clicked on your link. Is it insured? I'd make sure it is insured and smiling but.....

Oh my goodness who knew they would be worth so much money. It's an amazing looking plant. Personally if I needed the money I would sell it but if I didn't I'd keep it just for it's unique beauty alone.

I think I would leave your Staghorn fern right where it is. You may be sorry if your sold it. Of course if it has no meaning to you and would be treasured by another...there is no real reason to keep it, and extra money is always nice. You know the answer better than anyone.

I apologize for taking so long to come by and visit. It's been a busy week, and I'm up early to sit at the computer today before another day begins and I won't have much time!! Thanks for dropping by this week. The glass post...it's all so beautiful. And the picmonkey mirror effect...really cool.

As for this post, the staghoron I wouldn't dream of selling it. But, that's YOUR choice. And GOL [giggled] with the book smell.

I see an iPad in your future. ;D Love the one about smelling books. I'm off to bed, will catch up when I have time to visit again. I'm staying with my grandkids this week. The house sure gets quiet after they go to bed.
