Color Me Coloring

I finally bought an Adult Coloring Book... of course there are no adults in our house.. But I bought it anyway... this one is Tropical with lots of Parrots and Flamingos and Green leaves... Only 4.96 at Wal-Mart...

Which meant I had to buy markers and Crayola Colored Pencils. I think I like the Pencils best.
What do you Coloring Adults use?

I NEVER intended to take photos of this to show you (ha ha) but when I entered the kitchen the sunshine said Show This To Your Friends......

I have been in cleaning and tossing mode for he past few days and ALMOST tossed this fishing tackle thingy that I used for makeup storing. that was way back 10 years ago before I retired. It has been empty in the closet and was on the TOSS list... Until I bought the pens/pencils.

I am not sure if I like coloring, and may end up giving all of this away... of course You Will Be the First to Know....

My friend colors for stress relief. I'm not sure I'd like it, but who knows? Show us some of your pages.

Best,
Bonnie

Lovely pages to color. I don't have enough control to stay within the lines with my tremor, so it would be tiring to me. I think I would like the pencils best, though. The box is perfect for storing your supplies. You could take a photo of your finished colored pages for a header photo!

Good morning, Sandra! The adult coloring books are a great idea. Especially on rainy days like today. I would use the colored pencils, them seem easy and not messy. Is it a secret the fishing tackle box is no more? It is a great idea to use the box for your pencils and pens. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!

I finally started coloring this past weekend. I've only had the coloring book since Christmas..lol. I like the pencils, but wish they were a little bolder in color. I may need to purchase Crayola pencils because mine are an off brand and not good color.
I like your tropical book, mine is flowers and positive thoughts. :)

I love pencils, but have started outlining in a small tipped marker...it makes the colors stand out more...Oh boy, I just read what I wrote and realized I'm a coloring nerd LOL. I love the way you've rganized yur pencils...I am using an old make up bag. I'm an unorganized coloring nerd..

I'm so glad you bought one. I have a few now but haven't colored much yet. I had bought some pen style crayons to use but not really liking them. I recently bought some colored pencils and I believe I will like them better! I'll let you know.

I know many people who do love the colouring. My sister is one of them, but she also doesn't have the internet,so this helps to pass the time.I have tried it a little and am certainly not hooked on it.Have fun playing, though.

That is the least expensive I have seen.

Enjoy!

I have not colored in one of those but am sure I would want the pencils for it. I color with Lorelei in her coloring books quite often, though.

Sandra, my appt. went fine - eye pressure is great, no damage from the steroids. Having computer problems again, will get in touch when I can. Thanks for your prayers. Mildred

Your book looks a lot like one I received for my birthday -- the same book and pencils taking up space at the back of my closet.
Now I've got it on good authority, coloring is very therapeutic ... but I've a feeling the first time I happen outside the lines, I'm gonna 'lose it' and aim for the nearest trash receptacle!

I got a smaller coloring book for my birthday. I have yet to finish a picture I started several weeks ago. I know it's all the rage and everyone is in to the whole coloring thing but I have too hard of a time trying to decide what colors to choose.
I did buy a really cheap coloring book a while back though and scanned a couple pictures and then colored them in photoshop. I like doing it that way a whole lot better.

I've always loved coloring.
These coloring books are therapy for me.
I use both pens and colored pencils. I have more variety in the markers.
Have fun and enjoy. Maybe you will go in spurts like I do.

I have the color book also. Before my eye not being done. I could not see to do the coloring as my eyes got worse. Now that I am good.

I will get back to it. I like the Sharpie pointed colored pens...I have also you have in your container. The pens are nice but I find they leak through the page a bit.

It is just for me. So I put a blank page under the back page so it wont leak through.

Glad you got a book. You were doing it on line at first.

Have a Happy Coloring day Sandra. Cool!

I like the subject/theme of your coloring book. And the cool caddy you repurposed. I haven't gotten far with my coloring book. I'm always behind on the blog, it seems, or have a writing deadline, or a hike is calling my name.
