Cant Take My Eyes Off of You

Can't Take My eyes off of you, you're just to good to be true......

Let me know if as soon as your read the sentence above, did a song pop in your head? did you start to hum, sing or whistle that song?

Blue Bunny ice cream is running a commercial of a Blue Bunny peering into a freezer looking at blue Bunny ice cream and the song in the back ground is this one. The commercial plays all day every day and I am unable to get rid of  Can't take my eyes off of you, except for one day when Ann at SnapEditScrap got me on the loop of Sitting on the dock of the bay with her post......
JUST in case you are not OLD enough to remember the song, I have added it to the post.. with lyrics below... below is the link if the video doesn't show..

You're just too good to be true
I can't take my eyes off you
You'd be like heaven to touch
I wanna hold you so much
At long last love has arrived
And I thank God I'm alive
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you
Pardon the way that I stare
There's nothing else to compare
The sight of you leaves me weak
There are no words left to speak
But if you feel like I feel
Please let me know that is real
You're just too good to be true
I can't take my eyes off you
I love you baby
And if it's quite all right
I need you baby
To warm the lonely nights
I love you baby
Trust in me when I say
Oh pretty baby
Don't bring me down I pray
Oh pretty baby
Now that I've found you stay
And let me love you, baby
Let me love you
You're just too good to be true
I can't… Full lyrics on Google Play

Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, of course. I loved all their songs! Big Girls Don't Cry, Sherry, etc. This song from the 60's (?) seems appropriate to your pictures. Because to me, especially the blue one looks like the counter of a malt shop or drug store soda fountain. And YES, I am pretty sure what this is, but nevertheless you seem to be able to transform it into many things.

Yep, I read the title and immediately thought of the song and started humming it. I've seen the Blue Bunny commercial but if you were to have asked me what song was playing in the background I wouldn't have known. I guess I don't listen close enough to commercials...lol

Loved the photos and how you relate it to the ad. But I find that ads are too luring and ppush many to buy stuff that they probably would ignore if left alone from catchy tunes.
Odd thing is happening in my head. While on baby wait here in UK kiddy tunes keep randomly popping up in my head and I start humming them. Most interesting is they come in every language I"ve learned and taught and in no particular order.

Hello, Sandra! Yes, the song popped right into my head and I started humming the tune. It is one of my favorite oldies song. I have seen the Blue Bunny ice cream commercial a lot too. Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week ahead!

Oh wow, that video took me back to my extreme youth! I have had Happy Birthday in my head for the last two days. Can't think why as I attended a birthday party at the retirement center ten days ago and we didn't sing the English version - rather the Afrikaans one. Mmm

Love the glassy shots!

Yup! That Blue Bunny commercial makes me smile so big!
The 4 Seasons "Rag Doll" was the very first LP I purchased with my own money. :)

Did y'all ever see that powerful movie, The Deer Hunter? Every time I hear this song, I'm taken right back to that that pool hall, and the groomsmen's fleeting, carefree moments.

Yep. Couldn't remember all the lyrics so I really appreciated your posting them. We are at a coffee shop, and I didn't dare inflict my atrocious warbling on the after church crowd. But the advantage of belting it out in my head is that I am on key with stupendous pipes. Thanks for the Sunday happy!

And Blue Bunny is right behind Blue Bell on my enjoyment chart. Have a great week!

I know the song but now I want ice cream!

It's one of those songs that stays in your brain all day long. I too am on the hunt for that bunny.

Of COURSE that song is now firmly circling around in my head!!!!

I could not even finish the reading the title before the song popped into my head....there are days when just phrases bring songs to mind. Mind you, not words from the title. Just phrases, and I think it would make a good game show. Give contestants a phrase from a song, and see who can come up with the song.

Of course the song popped into my head immediately!
I love the effects on your glassware.

Of course the song popped into my head right away. I think i could sing the whole thing. It was also featured in the movie Conspiracy Theory, so i see it in that context, with Mel Gibson watching, from his taxi, Julia Roberts running on her treadmill. It's one of my favorite movies. Love that first image especially!!!

So Blue Bunny is around in Florida as well. We have the same commercial here as well. Isn't that blue bunny cute. - Yes I did start singing the song (I am old) - Nice edits to your glass.

Yes, I did see this commercial recently when we stayed in a hotel for Father's Day weekend while visiting family in PA. And, while I like ice cream and the Blue Bunny was cute, it made me glad that we don't watch TV...not a Four Seasons fan :-) and YES the melody did stick in my head awhile.
