Good Fence - The Good, the bad and the ugly

In a prior post I told you this vine on the window in our garage was Virginia Creeper and that I am wondering how long Bob will leave it there... 20 days later, I asked Bob why he is letting the creeper grow over the window?

His answer was it is NOT Virginia Creeper it is Passion Vine and is the recipient of our Butterfly eggs and all the Butterflies in our back yard.... the vine appeared there on the extra fence piece and he is waiting for it to die naturally which it will.

PRIOR POST on Passion plant incubator
Gulf Friterarry and the flowers HERE
Cocoon HERE

The good is the butterflies have their incubator and we can get 2 cars in the garage....
The bad and the ugly are the same thing.... it is ugly therefore it is BAD... to me anyway.

But it is pretty from the inside with the reflections on the truck and silhouettes. the good is I never go on the outside of the garage to see the bad and ugly.... that is HIS territory.. and of course the butterflies. The benefit of the bad and ugly is when parts of our fence fall apart we have two good sections to repair with... thus thinks the man from mars.

Joining TexWisGirl on Good Fence Thursday. Pop over to see fences from around the world.

I think it makes the fence look so pretty! Now it is not a drab fence, it is prettified! And how much better can it get if it is a butterfly nursery!

MOLMOL it is creeping like the Blob in the movie the Blob...
I had no idea about the Buttie pillar eggs though.

Hello, I think it looks pretty growing on the fence. It is a good plant if it makes the butterflies happy. Neat shadow shot. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and weekend!

I guess you could close that window, before it eats your cars! LOL! It does look pretty on the fence and serves a purpose for the butterflies. Have a great day Sandra!

The vine does look a lot like the Virginia Creeper. It's pretty vining over the fence.

Oops I also meant to say that it's cool that butterflies benefit from the vine.

well I think it's rather pretty looking and since it's a butterfly incubator all the better.

I was on the fence (no pun intended) 'til I considered the baby butterflies and my old heart went, "Awwwww."

We are always pulling them out of our yard!! Truly invasive. And if you let the flowers become fruit, the birds'll eat 'em and scatter the seed to kingdom come. I'd prefer to see the blossom in PARKS. lol

I really like the way the plant has draping itself over the fence, it is a pretty plant. Anything to bring butterflies to my place I would be happy with. Hugs
