My Oil Change Made My Day!

Thursday was one of the most fun days in a long time. The PHUN fell on me at the most unexpected place. I took my Kia to Tire Kingdom for an oil change... While waiting I met a beautiful 30 something young woman who had a bubbly personality that looked a lot like the creation above. She was bright and sweet and funny and PHUN.... her name was Michele...

We connected from the moment we set eyes on each other. 1 hour and 15 minutes of talk, talk, talking and laugh, laugh laughing.... The time flew by. I had taken my phone, tablet and Kindle and only took the tablet out to take pics for this post and never touched it again.

By the time we left we were fast friends and she said I am Michelle and I said I am Sandra and she said Can I hug you???? YES! and we did .... so very thankful to find fun and kindness in a Tire Kingdom.

I came home and More PHUN was waiting... Bob took me to Culver's for a burger... NO COOKING! PLUS!

While standing in line to pay for yogurt to take home and put in the freezer after we ate our burgers, 4 young men in line behind me started teasing me and the five of us joked until we were all rolling on the floor laughing. the teen that was ringing up the ice cream got into it and his face was purple with laughing. It did not matter I am 50 years older than they were... We had our line laughing like we were watching a Bob Hope show.

I felt so good when I left I was floating on air. If laughter is good for the soul, it is Well With My Soul...

And hubby standing over by the door waiting said what was all that about?  He was laughing at us laughing and did not even know what we were laughing at...

I created all these art pieces with the last 3 pics in the collage at the end. One not so pretty auto repair place plus 6 sweet, kind, funny people and what a wonderful day in the neighborhood it was.

The best news is... involved in all of this fun there were black people and white people and red neck Ga and FL boys, college kids and a very old woman.... who knew?

I love days like that where everyone you meet is kind and lighthearted and accepting. Oh, if the world could always be that way. Fun pictures.

What a wonderful post. There is so much doom and gloom in the world that a lot of people have forgotten how to laugh.
We laugh a lot at all sorts of things and often get a funny look for it.
This post lifted my heart, thanks Sandra.

what a great day you had. Phun seems to find you so easily. It's nice too, to hear about people getting along and enjoying themselves rather than the fighting and killing that happens all too often. This also proves that laughter is contagious since Bob was laughing along without knowing what you were laughing about. Which reminds me, What were you laughing about? :)

It's always good to meet outgoing, friendly folk when out-and-about. An ordinary day becomes a better one because of a happy atmosphere. I like the effect - now you see it now you don't with the bubbles on the first two images when you click on your photo slideshow.
