Hello..Again....

I bought a new pillow for my neck. I LOVE IT... I can use it while sitting in a chair, on the sofa, propped on the bed... Feels soooo good... It also makes a perfect holder for my kindle when reading...I prop it on my lap in chair or bed...

Update on my eyes... Think Cataract Surgery... I see the surgeon 2 weeks from today to start the long and involved process leading up to a 10 minute surgery.
Think Insurance Approval Waiting Period.. I mean I have Proof I have them because unlike anyone else I know, while I suffered through 8 hours of dilated eyes, I took a photo to prove to myself I had them.
I mean other than I CANT SEE proof.
NOT that I have Trust Issues, I wanted to KNOW I have them.

You are polka dot head! Cool. This pillow looks awesome! You should have two! One for your neck and one for your tablet & Kindle. I don't know how on earth you did that eye shot! Only you would do this, it is what makes you such a unique Snapper. I went blind in one eye before I could get my surgery, but it is easy and immediate results! You will have to put a zillion drops in for a few weeks.

Aha!! I have a pillow just like that, now I know to use it as a prop for my reader...and perhaps a book too.
Thank you for that.

Keep us posted on the surgery of course.

Such a good idea, using the neck cushion for a book prop must get one to try, i usually use a cushion.
As for the eyes, how long will you have to wait to get them done? Tom has them coming but our NHS service is dying and the waiting time is about 2 years, then they will only do the one eye and you have to wait again for the other one.
Only good thing is we do not have to pay.
Glad everything is okay for you though.

Praying for a speedy resolution to the eye surgery.
From what I have heard the cateract surgery is amazing and like getting a new pair of eyes.
Love your pillow. I have one that I use when watching tv. The chair and my head just don't fit without it.
Glad to see you back in the blog business again.

Hope you can get that surgery sooner rather than later.

Glad to see you back Sandra and to hear that you got a diagnosis on your eye problem. It sounds as if you are on the way to getting the cataracts sorted. Here in the UK one's eyesight because of cataracts has to be a real problem before one is referred to the hospital eye department.

I like your pretty polka dot pillow. I have one but it's boring brown. I never thought to use it to hold my kindle

Love the black-and-white pillow! (Then again, I'm a big fan of black anything.)

I'm interested to follow your cataract journey. Tom had eye surgery this morning to remove a growth from the back of his eye. While that was necessary to ensure he wouldn't eventually lose his vision, the doctor said a cataract would most likely result.

GO FOR IT!!! Tomorrow I see the doc for my one month checkup on my second eye. Darn, it's nice to be able to see! It's a piece of cake with a whole bunch of eye drops.

Yep! I'm right behind you . . . with the surgery, not the cute and comfy pillow. However. I am developing a close relationship with one of the pillows on our new wibdowseats.

Glad pillow is working for you. You look pretty comfy. I need one that hugs around with arms so I can sit and watch my movies from my computer on my spare bed. I do not have a laptop like you.
I find laying and holding my arm up to hold my head my neck hurts.

May all things go well for your visit with the eye Specialist. So you can have operation of Cataract removed soon. They give you the date.
===============================================================
The operation is a breeze for removal. You do not feel a thing. Even though you can talk with them at first. After that. I could hear them talk but it felt like when you have a doze off nap and your sort of are aware but your not. It is twilight sleep. They cannot put you out completely like a big operation as your only in like 12 minutes to have it done. A nurse told me before the quick removal. To look up to the bright light in the operating room as I call it. I thought it was Heaven when I looked up. The beam of light was not bright to hurt you . It was a awesome experience.

I seen them remove my cataract and it looked like Tadpoles or you may call them Polliwogs and then circles of clear around and about. That to me was the ordeal he was working with the cataract and the cutting I seen but not feeling a thing. anything.

The only down fall is they get you all to prep in a room and eye drops it seems forever and then waiting to the operating room is like going in a line of traffic forever. I just rested my eyes as I went along.

I was in the hall for over 4 hours. They push you a bit . Then stop put on the break with the bed. So it is like stop go in traffic. Then as you get almost into the operating room. I like the bed idea. They wheel that bed right in with you on it. How cool is that. In Canada.

They come behind you and put your neck in a neck fitter of some kind. To me it looked like what piano players use to put up the music to read. Then the Specialist will come out. He will adjust it to his liking. Hey he is the boss tee, hee. He likes your head turned just so. Does not hurt. I guess that is why the nurse told me to look up in the light. He adjusted it himself just so.

I seen the operation but to me it looked like little Tadpoles or Polliwogs he was probing with. He sprays your eyes every second but you do feel it but it is like a feather a wee tickle even when he cut me. He disinfects your area of your eyes so you do not have any infection. I came out with all yellow orange like a big bruise but that was the protection he puts on in area he is working on. I was told he puts a clamp around the eye to keep it open for him. I seen that after.

Other then that. The easiest quick removal. I was asked to wear I call horse blinders to keep the light out in the car home. I did not have to wear the patch on eye ever.
The staff is fabulous. They joke with you right up to the doors to go in. They will ask you 50 times. What eye do you have to be done. Even though they have the chart. Ask you what allergies you have. Again they have it on the chart they asked you already. I was getting tired of that bit. But it is for our own sake. I was told all this stuff before in my room where I was given the drops and put on my gown.

When I looked after. Oh the colors are so awesome. The t.v colors magnificent.

Then I had told you the rest private. I am waiting for my second cataract. I tell you. I would be over joyed to go in a second. No prob. No fear.
If this comment is too long and all. Be free to delete it. Your the boss of your blogs.

You can tell my eye is improving. I am writing a book here.
