Kerplunk! Kerplunk!

Jake
It was raining when we went to bed......lights out....settled 3 pillows the way they have to be...

KERPLUNK! KERPLUNK! OH nooooooo... what has Bob left under the drip-line This Time???
(last time it was an upside down bucket under the drip-line)

I sigh LOUDLY and step out of bed to wander out in the rain to move whatever will keep me awake...

HAPPY DANCE! it is not outside it is inside.... it is the .... FLY SWAT! hanging on the wall and the newly clean fan is making it KERPLUNK! Kerplunk on the wall where I hung it AFTER I killed the red fluffy ball that skittered across the bathoom floor making me think it was a bug..

Think Cataracts.. think not one but 4 red dog blankets that shed red fluff balls..THINK Crazy MadSnapper....
Bob the man who falls instantly asleep after removing hearing aids, knew none of the above, while I settle PILLOWS he does the ZZZZZZZZZZZZ.....

So funny! But you must have been scared too! Jake has a colorful and comfy bed, and is making me sleepy. I was just looking at your up close hollyhocks post. From a few years ago, yet I don't remember it! Are they yours?

Kerplunk is annoying especially when you can't find what it is. I'm glad you did.

Kerplunk is an annoying sound; I'm glad you located it! I also sort out any ghoulies and ghosties that may wander around the house when we're already in bed. Grant turns on his side and is instantly asleep. I loved seeing Baby Girl and of course, Jake. Have a great weekend. Jo xx

I'd still find a way to blame it on Bob if I were you!!

Something under the drip bothers me too.

It's raining there!!! What a blessing.

You're a brave soul to even consider stepping outside in the middle of the night!
... but the dripping would drive me bonkers, as well. Sometimes I think my super-power sense of hearing is a curse.

Well, first of all: congratulations on killing the red fluffy bug :) LOL
I had the opposite experience the other day - staring at what I thought was speck of dust on the bathroom floor, I suddenly noticed it was MOVING, and it WAS a bug... eeeek... (No idea what it was. I killed it and flushed it without further investigation! Very small and in all likelihood quite harmless... But it should have stayed outdoors!)

Those sounds in the night can drive one bonkers.
I always have to get up and scope them out too.
Love the demise of the red fluff ball.
Thanks for the birthday wishes for our son.
I knew we had lots of connections and now another one, as our sons are the same age.
Have a great weekend.
Think the temps may be a bit cooler today...of course that's a relative term when its over 100F.

My husband complains he can't sleep yet his head hits the pillow and he is out! So glad you didn't have to go outside to fix the kerplunk!

Oh the frights from supposed creepy crawlers that turn out to be harmless stuff erroneously perceived through our cataracts! At least the resulting heart-pumping fright, stomping and whacking to exterminate the invader provides a good cardio workout.

Oh dripping sounds or clunk sounds not a fan of sounds.
I too would get up. To see.

Lol I get that! I think fuzz is bugs all the time and I don't have cateracts......don't we wish we could sleep like Bob does!

little noises like that will keep me awake, but not my hubby. so, when there's a noise like that I have to get up and find it unless I can con hubby into it. lol
Jake and Baby look so comfy. Baby is so beautiful. miss seeing her.
hugs,
Marie
