Blame it on FaceBook

Muffins found on internet, not mine. forgot to snap them!

I placed the 6 corn muffins in the toaster oven and had 17 minutes to wait. I only needed a few minutes to check Facebook.

24 minutes later:      "What is that smell, I thought... MUFFINS!" my mind screamed.

Racing into the kitchen I jerked the muffins out to see tops just turning dark brown, not burned but overcooked.
I took a bite to TEST the muffin and nearly choked it was so dry. I had to drink water to wash it down.

No problem, I will throw them out to the squirrels and maybe it will choke a few of them or even choke a raccoon..

Guess What Happened? Bob slathered them with apricot preserves and down the hatch they went.

To bad they were not synonym rolls, just like grammar used to make.

Funny pun! Well, at least one of you enjoyed them! So they weren't wasted after all.

Good for Bob!!!

But, I'd prefer the synonym muffins. Doughnut like corn.

Hello, LOL! My hubby would scrap off the bad or burned places and eat them too. Synonum muffins, must taste like cinnamon muffins. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

We have a gal in our Apt. Thought she was doing her birds a fav outside. She gave her crusts to a gal on bottom floor to put out. Well her bread crumbs never made it. Security Guard said. No, no. We have smelly friends at front door looking in.

Some gals have been doing what you wanted to happen until your hubby found a way to love them Sandra.

We now have at our lower apartments.

A family of Skunks who so happy come to the front entrance to look in to get attention. Hey guys got more food.

So glad Bob has become your Skunk with no nasty smell And loves your food that was so hard or Sandra next you will be telling us. Look what came into my yard.

Yummmmm! Everything goes better with preserves :)
I should show this to my DH and maybe ... just maybe, he won't feel so bad about forgetting to check the boiling eggs and having them explode.

Mom always loved cornbread and buttermilk...together like a mush. I never could figure that out nor grow to enjoy it as much as she did.

That's what Mom wanted when she woke from heart surgery. I turned the hospital kitchen inside out. They found some corn bread in the freezer and they had butter milk. Mom took two bites but she was happy.
